I so agreed. Was Saiunkoku good? I am contemplating to put that in my watch list, seems like it will air in 2024. Had never try a J-animation to C drama.

Hard to imagine anyone younger, I felt it was an older guy given this mission was 10 over years ago, so I suspect the head of the project. But we shall see.

They cut short all the background stories and the character developement. Good effort for CGI, fight scenes and action. My only complain is that they should have given more ep to develop the characters. I guessed for people who reads the comics and watched the anime would have a deeper understanding, and for those who didn’t may increase their curiosity to read it.

I can tell that Dr Bai will not have good ending…he holds a double headed snake role which soon will be revealed. So PHM finally realised her feelings for JDY. I am wondering who is the snow wolf.?

I felt because of Dr Bai’s past, Bai Hui will keep being pull into the matters.

Totally agreed. Hence I felt a waste, such great build up and destroyed by how it end.

Yes, the dying part was not a surprise, but how the script writer choose to only implement all that plots at the last 10 ep. And the other inconsistent part is LTG’s character. One moment we thought he has come to terms with his relationship with Ruyi, then next moment he wanted to force marriage. I felt that scene was force in so YY can take the opportunity to have that grand speech of marrying him. The last 10 ep, the whole plot just feel conveniently inserted.

Yes exactly, the build up was fun and good, then disappointed that the drama just rush at the end.

I am somehow glad that all ep are released as express package, so we won’t have to deal with this ambiguous ending for Xmas. Nice chatting here, cya all in future dramas.

Just be prepared of many deaths and lots of war for the last few ep. and we are left with a weird ambiguous ending scene. Enjoy;)

The last 5 ep plot just gone really crazy. But you survived many angsty plots previously, you will survive this one. The ending is up to your interpretation.;)

Well reviewed. I resonate with what you said. I am a fan of the manga and anime, felt injustice on how this drama left out so many important back story, so hence the characters have no depth. I am not sure I will continue if they make a second season.

Not due to instability of his internal force, that will be resolved by the time there is a final war.
