I am with you on this. With her observation of how her mom’s choices and her maternal grandfather’s bias views. She shouldn’t be blamed for her choice. It’s also a wise choice she made in Uni, believing in ML’s potential and didn’t want to be a barrier for his success. Think back then when she made that choice for ML is because she knew too well that ML will give up and just follow her decision to stay on to do her major. It’s no fault of her even as adult, she chooses to reject ML. It is of valid reason as first at her mature age she needs to reconcile with her inner self about love, before she can truly love him. So my guess, her reply was just an impromptu ‘push him away’ stent. Now she only had her career and as matured adult, she is afraid to take risk in love which make sense, hence she is afraid to accept him. I believe ML knows her too, hence he is still pursuing her. That’s my take. I am excited to see how they work it out, it will be progressive.

Ep 15 is about ML protecting FL from a perverted client and he offering to make amends for FL and brought her to theme park. It’s a sweet ep., but they are not together yet.

Thanks for sharing your perspectives. It make sense and I do understand her struggles. Do hope they continue to build mature communication and not hurt each other because of their pride. I am still excited to see how they will progress, seems like ML is persuasive and will want to help her realise her feelings.

IMO you shouldn’t skip the Bo’re arc as it is an important growth for TTJ and LSS, planting a seed and set up for future plot. There are some very sweet moments between Ming Ye and Clam Princess.

Enjoy. The next 4 ep will shift gear where ML decisiveness and FL’s childlike and indecisiveness. It is still good to watch their chemistry.

And in latest ep., you see that she has yet grow in that part, again rejected ML because she thought it’s the right thing to do and fail to communicate her concern, not mature yet.🤦🏻‍♀️

I do understand his action. I am just feeling the plot is really making the audience pity the FL with that drag, which I find totally unnecessary. The latest ep., it will become more of ML chasing FL again, which is a direction that’s not my fancy. Feels like FL keeps making decision for ML.

Based on the trailer for this one, she has definitely improved. Maybe ML’s chemistry with her works for this one.

I don’t quite like the fake dad/mom scene too. Felt it was a drag and such an unnecessary punishment on FL, making her believe she was a third party and unwanted there. She played along gracefully and I am surprised she was so cool when the truth was revealed, if it’s me, I would be angry as it’s not respectful for another individual to be treated this way. It’s emotionally tormenting to be in her position, forcing herself to partake the event. And I am glad it’s over. And given another fact that at University, how would one know what’s the best choice to make, marriage or career.?
