So now we have a theory that the cult group worship an asteroid that fallen in the sea and was dormant but 2 yrs ago infected some fishes…and those who ate it have different reactions, some become mindless monsters and some dont and a few can control the monster, which hinted the little girl and her deceased mother. So Heng Ging cult formed to want to control the power. Really so many elements, this show tried so hard to pull everything together that its becoming messy.

The plot pacing seems to slow down quite a bit for ep 7 and 8. Feels like we will have a blood bath then ending.

Totally agreed with you. Started out smart then it become a safe plot. The sentence you quote is probably the driven theme of the leads’ relationships. I do wish to be surprised by the ending, but was not, still it’s okay as the ending give a closure.

A second chance, modern day fairy tale of Cinderella’s revenge with the help of a fully devoted Prince Charming. Old troupe with a happily ever after that requires no need for logic on plot. Just need the viewers’ attention to emerge in the fantasy world of every girls’ dream to be rescued and loved. IMO both ML and FL shown believable chemistry and even though it’s an old troupe, I totally adored this drama and binged watch it in a day.

If you don’t mind spoiler I can share, no problem. FL kind of sign up for the experiment as she needed money for her grandma’s medical fees. ML really likes her in high school but never confess his love then things happened and she disappeared.

It is not a time travel plot. Both FL in both timeline is the same person. FL is on an experiment of virtual simulation.

HiHi, just started this for FY 2024. Dudnt expect to start a Kdrama for the year but here I am. First ep is so interesting and got me hook. Not my usual genre. But I am anticipating her revenge plot.

Their masks were a little out of place although the overall attire is quite suitable.

Yes, some resemblance, the sea creature scenes reminds me of Lovecraft’s Kraken…for a moment I was thinking will this drama go to that direction.
