I do enjoyed this drama, and felt the ending is most satisfactory, a good balance to reality, good for both novel reader and drama enthusiasts like me. I like the story. Both ZY and WXY’s acting are superb and blown me away. For such young actors like them, I see great potential for more masterpiece in future. I am sure going to anticipate their future works. In a way, it make some sense that HQ doesn’t want to wake up, it’s still a terrible reality to wake up to. I do feel the whole ep is satisfactory. Agreed with you that at least here you get to see that he is committed to be with her. The only unnecessary part is to show that their love started at such small age…that’s a bit cliche…hahhaa

There is a discussion below on this which I also agreed. ZXW finally knowing HQ has a thought for him, is adequate enough for him, hence he shed tears, and he is afraid to take the noodle, as if he does, he would not be able to let go of her.
