Which ep are you? I tried to answer some:
- No MY is TTJ is two different person. MY picked him for a very good reason which will reveal later, MY wants to teach TTJ about love and sacrifice for greater good. After the MY’s Bore dream, TTJ then has the ability to grow love thread.
- TTJ is the selected devil fetus with devil bone. So his life is control by DG in some way to suffer betrayal and abandonment by others, so when TTJ dies, his body and soul can truest belongs to DG.
- DG 1.0 was not killed by MY, at that time they still have no idea to how to kill DG, hence MY can only keep the devil bone sealed up.
- It’s the cycle that every thousand years DG will be reborn as mortal. MY and the other Gods took a new bargain and risk by planting LSS back to the past to change the mortal DG’s destiny.

They just got very natural chemistry together. A very rare friendship in show biz and yet not a couple. I am happy that they are happy. Being in show biz, finding the right partner is not easy and often they would rather choose partner that are not same profession. It’s indeed a pity that they are not really together.

@charleymiamore I feel you. For c drama, there’s always a need for insertion of such plot to make viewers feel for the leads. However for LIS is pretty much sweetness throughout.😍

Not a popular opinion: I pity BXS…plot says fall in love with YH, he felt in love…plot says try to break them apart, he tries to be annoying and do all sorts of things to create problems…plots says act pitifully to get YH’s sympathy…and he does. Can’t there be a more tasteful and intelligent SML? I really like how BXS is in the beginning. lol.

From a love story sense, it is a sad ending. As the couple is not together.

I see it as an open ending but happy. Because TTJ’s legacy will be remembered and he is happy of his choice and taking fate in his own hands to destroyed the DG. And he has also become God, so God won’t come back after they die. I don’t think he will come back, he left his memories in the heart protection scale for LSS. There are other viewers with different take in it. The novel ends differently too. So how do you see it?

He said something about “…this is very interesting, I am very happy, everyone here is very warm, I am very excited by it…” Is this a promotion or he is meeting fans?

LSS in her goddess form is prepared to die with TTJ after knowing his intention. TTJ asked her to let go, she said “no, she won’t let go.” He replied “okay”. She fainted after she exerted power to crack the devil bone. TTJ used the ‘heart protecting scale’ to protect her so she won’t be harm. Then he self-sacrificed.
So when LSS woke up at the tombstone and realised what TTJ has done, she said “You lied to me again.” TTJ lied on letting her to die with him.
Hope this clarify. It happened fast so easily missed on these details.

I am sure IQIYI cash in big time for LIS after TTEOTM. Noticed how quickly they were advertising it just before TTEOTM ends. I re-watched LIS after this too. And many here also went there. IQIYI is pretty smart foreseeing this would happen.
