Hahahah…in the novel, yes. A lot in the novel can never pass censorship. In this drama, I don’t think so. Or at least it’s not intended as shown in my opinion. Lol!

It’s interesting that many feels it like a rape. MY has full control and participation of his action, so technically not rape.

Yeah been answered many times as it’s confusing for some. Let’s review from drama perspectives, its intention is close enough to the novel, small details are neglect-able. It’s actually not that complicated. SJ just felt she needed to get what she deserves as MY’s wife, which is her wedding night (sex) and furthermore he has asked her to leave, she felt she wanted to claim that. As she has been in with love him for more than a few hundred years. She decided to use the drug on him, which only will weaken him in the beginning and make him lost his voice. But you see after the first initial kiss, it’s all him also wanted to do it with her. And obviously with MY’s power, he can be easily diffused the drug effects if he wants to. So it’s mutual, and not rape.

And one wonder why TTJ didn’t call upon his birds to figure out who put the poison…the demon has become complacent.

I think it’s the LSS’s behaviour that most of us are confused with. Those who read the novel, will have some reasoning. Those who did not, just felt angry that LSS has become dumber in her action and paving ways to make TTJ turn evil. I am keen to wait how the next few ep will turn out.

In this drama for us is within an hour. My heart can’t take it. lol!

The script writer decided to make TTJ more humane and YXW more dumber. I just wonder how they will continue to connect the story following this. If I have not known the novel, I quite like how LYX portray TTJ, whereas for LSS become a bit more confusing at this stage.

Maybe that’s the intention so that the audience won’t feel so bad for her sacrifice.

That’s an interesting point. As here YBC is re written into the drama for next arc but not in the novel.

I am skipping today and next few days, saving it to watch all only on next Tues.

Well summarized. I haven’t watch but can imagine what and where it’s heading. Destiny is one of the big theme revolving all characters. YXW/LSS will have to do what she does and TTJ will be who he is as he still have the evil bone inside.

She will have to die from the mortal arc then the next immortal arc, they will meet again.

Hmmm, today will be the start of misunderstanding then two days with no ep and the continuation of misunderstanding on Sun. Till likely tower scene around Mon or Tues…I am not sure whether I can hold myself and wait till next week then watch all in one shot🤣

XL is nothing to him. It can be anyone that he feels get in the way of his interest. But in this situation because of his jealousy towards seeing YXW wanted to rescue XL, he is punishing YXW by making her kill someone she cares about. TTJ is a complex character.
