There are quite a few changes if you compared the novel to this screenplay. But I have no complaint. As the characters portrayal here works well and the story works well. The whole team kept some of the important elements from the original novel which is good enough. Watching this whole series is like a little roller-coaster ride, now it’s over, we want more. I am already thinking of re-watching again:) But I do agreed with some of the comments here, the last few episodes felt rush, wish they had more time after the build up of revenge and reconciliation. Hope there will be follow up scenes.
Ep 30-31 are very heartwarming. It is a pick up of their relationships. LX has finally decided to let his guard down and allow himself to accept ZY. LX’s character has grown, he has learnt to be more patient and learnt to communicate more to ZY. He does seems to have very strong EQ and do care for people but just rarely show it. Good acting! ZY as a character has not grown much as she shouldn’t, she was still stuck and she is still true to her character being one track mind, chasing her faith wholeheartedly. Great acting.
LX and ZY obviously still love each other deeply. But LX seems to have fear of hurting ZY again hence still can’t be truthful to her. Nice drama set up.
