in which ep main lead starts dating? any break up? if any then in which ep they get back together? and any annoying…
Now latest ep is 18, they have yet start dating. But at least the ML and FL has worked out some initial misunderstanding and starting to warm up. But as total is 39 ep, it feels like a slow burn to their romance. Not sure about break up but definitely potential love triangle.
Finally get to finish the last two ep. Honestly I don’t know what to make out of it to the end. Had mix feelings.. To me, ending was kind of predictable, not much surprises. The last ep was exceptionally a drag for me. Making them go through the emo-ness which I didn’t feel it’s necessary. Thinking back, my disappointment probably was due to the initial good set up in the beginning of the story, then anticipating more twist but disappointed as imo, fall a short for me in the ending. However overall I do enjoy the mini mystery story, the two MLs chemistry, the refreshing clips in monster diary and some of the beautiful cinematography of certain scene. And I still wonder, Whats the kitty’s role?
From recent ep I realised that CX is not arrogant, she is confident and believe in her own ability, not afraid to face consequences and willing to take responsibility and accept her mistakes. Once she realised and aware of her own feelings, she is courageous to pursue her love whether is to be flight captain or her love for GNT . GNT is still fearful, but CX is giving him space to realise, CX has very high EQ!
HG, mystery man and whoever else still don't have a clear motive and they need to be getting that out in the open;…
I know what you mean. The characters were initially well set up, brought about anticipation, so was the story. Then they became quite inconsistent and sometimes even blatantly silly especially SY. And in certain point the editing is messy. A few more ep., will press on till the end but hopefully I won’t be very disappointed.
Watched till ep 34, half way and felt like dropping it…first the Mr Jin and his young boss’s motives are so unrealistic, the method they used just feels so childish. Then Gu Nan’s behaviour, HCF is already wary of him and yet, GN gets to do certain acts against and again, GN’s script is also repetitively on guilt trip about teaching HCF’s skill…. sigh…just felt frustrating to continue to watch. Somehow the editing or the writing…2 more ep to end and I feel I won’t be getting a satisfactory ending.

Yes, not much romance. Subtle romance, only hugging briefly in one ep and that’s it. But the ML & FL have good chemistry. I initially thought this drama can actually do without the romance. The main plot and story is interesting and captivating. I watched this to detox from L&P as it’s very different genre. ;)
What does Glutinous Rice & Waffle means ? The meal CX asked SS to give to GNT
Glutinous rice in Chinese is ”糯米” and Waffle is same pronunciation “wa 夫”, so putting together one word of each is “懦夫” means “coward”. So CX is hinting that GNT is coward for not returning the strip badge in person and have to ask Song Song to do it. This was very subtly explained by Song Song when he left GNT office.
One thing for sure though, when GNT told his tenant that he too had a magical day and it was worth it even though…
Yes! Obviously he had fallen for her with that action running into the plane to rescue her without thinking. But he is still not acknowledging it yet.;)
