So agreed! That will be a great additional scene to see. If they are making special episode, seeing them grow old together will be a good closure for me.
Felt since I completed this series last week, I have yet move on.

The couple look and behave so natural whether was on screen or off screen. It’s funny how distant and cold they were in the beginning of the filming, then develop these very natural chemistry, making their love on screen even more real!

Yes! Many points throughout the drama, have subtly shown how the couple understood each other without needing to explain in so many words. Hence their unshakable bond for each other.
I felt that was the point LX realised his pushing ZY away, avoiding their love for each other is not the best option for them both. Hence he learnt to start accepting their love instead.

My take: if you follow LX’s character track, you will realise he is not toxic or narcissistic. He is self driven, goa oriented because of his family background. However he does had poor manage of his emotions and can be extreme in decision making such as ‘taking revenge in his own hands’. But he is also willing to take responsibility and faced consequences. And following ZY’s character track, she is not self destructive, her depression was because she understands LX so well and her regrets (as shown later) was with herself for not stopping him in time. They are both flaw in their own way yet willing to accompany each other because deep down they understand each other well.

Oh, do watch on. It’s not a true break up, just separated due to circumstances. It’s worth the wait to discover how deeply they still love and care for each other when the meet again:).

LBY ‘s character as a ML is rather unorthodox. Hence needs a courageous character like CSS to be his FL.:)

Only people hanging around ML and FL but all with unrequited love. The ML and FL’s love for each other has always hold a strong bond even with the separation and later reunion, just for both to discover they still hold each other deeply in their hearts.

This is the amazing courage that LX always admire about her since the beginning she stood on stage and challenged him. ZY has this inner courage that when she decided, And it’s not just impulse, as she said she thought about it and doesn’t want to be threaten and doesn’t care about rumors of such. True strengths!

Watching dramas are always about personal reference. However if as you mentioned, some of the unbearable will pass. The key lead characters” romance will take fruit. Both ML and FL will grow and ending is more than satisfactory. I would recommend to watch on. It’s worth the while.

Well deserved! Excellent work! Had seen Zhao Lusi’s other dramas, however in this particular one, she shines!

The crown prince represents the over compassionate without wisdom. As the queen mentioned, he would better off be a commoner.

There were the direct consequences in school days where LX beat him up, but LX ended in jail. And the indirect consequences where FZJ gets his own jail term due to his wrong doing in later part of the drama. Worth to follow through.

So agreed. Initially there were quite a lot of interesting discussion tracks and sharp observation about L&P that got me to review the ep and discover. Comments were fruitful and respectful. Now I ignored the unconstructive sharing. Hopefully these discussion can maintained its positive attitude.

Can’t imagined watching L&P movie without original casts.
