Ye Mo and TLC is from the same place, a celestial realm where both are higher beings with special powers, can self heal and won’t die easily. Their species have no knowledge of emotions but strive to be the best potential of oneself. TLC is one of the best version created. Ye Mo is the first of their species to be fallen into human realm and experienced betrayal from human beings hence he became destructive and named himself as YiQue YinYang…he was presumably destroyed, however in latest ep. We all knew he survives and want to use TLC’s body as his vessel.
A lot of commenters mentioned Xiao Shi as suspicious, but based on novel readers, he is not. He is a plot device to show how TLC uses his skill he learnt from his mentor, FangZhou, to guide another young person who is being misunderstood.

Ep 11, love the dynamic between the lawyer and Da Hui Hui, particularly the scene where Da Hui Hui is narrating his theory with the lawyer and BXL…well done! Qin Jun Jie’s acting is always impressive.!
My theory, the car accident is done by BXL herself, it’s part of the plot to seek revenge from ZJ. So we see the slightly innocent ZJ groom by Sister Juan…she is a scary woman, never mess with her.

Interesting theory about the police friend’s theory, I had that thought initially, but in recent ep LW saw him, or unless there is more twist??? This drama is great with twists, loving it.
In a way ZJ was a kept lover to Sister Juan, but I wonder why they fall out, is it after ZJ got married to BXL?

That’s the mystery Da Hui Hui is eager to figure out and his theory is ZJ is trying to create an accident to kill his wife without knowing she has already left the studio. But we shall see, the plot twist is quite unexpected. I initially really thought LW had died.

Thanks for this review. I am glad that I now can say I did not regret dropping this. Totally agreed with you that it started out good then in the middle as if another writer took over and changed everything. I couldn’t continue after ep 18. Now I decided that this will stay drop for me. This franchise is such a disappointment, Love in Pavilion is barely passable and all because of other Cops too, but at least over there the main CPs, at least feels that they are in love.

It’s pretty amazing that you have last till the end. Great patience and faith for this franchise. This is good! U will say a bit of both, the main lead is trying to solve the mystery of his missing Ex-G/F, but the underlying tone between the suspected couple feels very much like a psychological thriller.
