I think to PuZhu, he knew that XiFang Tao is outright evil, hence his compassion practice was that he believes any evil can repent if they choose to. But TLC is neither evil nor good, instead he is driven by own goals and to achieve that, he can cause destruction and death which is the way PuZhu cannot accept. Or that’s how I see his character is.

I love a good mystery drama, hope this one won’t disappoint. So far in ep 1, I am intrigued, Qin Jun Jie as ML always delivered his role well, love his pairing with Pang Han Chen (Li De)…and Wang Duo, again in a grey mysterious character, fun!

The disaster of having too many screen writers is that everyone has their own interpretation hence can be confusing if they are not align or consistence in character portrayal.😓

Yes, I do feel since the first time when LY intervened the transferred of powers between FZ and TLC, he already absorbed some dark forces from FZ, then with his misunderstanding towards TLC and practicing dark powers to become stronger, GMD can just easily corrupt his mind. So the latest ep., when TLC tell him the truth, there seems to be some shift in his sanity, but quickly clouded again when he felt betrayed when he can’t find FZ’s body. LY is very pathetic character.

There are just so much cloth flying around them and wrapping around them😅. I feel such effort even watching them perfect the scenes.

I am only starting back after putting on hold and as you said, the pace and story telling is actually really good. So underrated show.

Yup, I didn’t feel that she was acting drunk, she is still able to perfect her dance moves, definitely still sober. lol! You saw Fated Hearts right? Li Qin can portray drunk state so well.
I don’t like her voice dubber, this voice makes her childlike or unless that’s the intention of the director, that she behaves childlike in front of ML, 🤷🏻‍♀️.
I also agreed that she is not that suitable for this role. No hate for her, just feels that VS didn’t really interprete this role well and as viewers, I am feeling confused by her expression 😅.

Same. I can’t read her expression and the pulp lips she made is not making it better. I wonder is it the director’s direction or FL’s choice of how this character should be.

Hmmm…I wonder how they are going to further show us A Shui’s character here, so far the drama show us her neediness towards TLC and her ability to save him with her blood, so I wonder when she will actually show her true color. 😓

Her boss wants her to kill him, so unlikely she can make him her ally😓. But I wonder is she powerful enough to kill PuZhu.?
