Lots of plot points, TLC seems to influence GMD, he help him go back to past, TLC saw his birth mom and thought he killed GMD. TLC went back to Sword Alliance and compete for leader role as Master Shao is retiring. There was ep dedicated to Princess and her dilemma of lies, TLC said words of wisdom to waken her, she gave vote for him and he won the title. But then he got busy looking for CY and SLH was called away. Then LY redeemed himself by making antidote, CY died, LY died and pass the rebirth scroll back to TLC. We saw the biological mom of TLC and also who gave him the bracelet. Then the final arc of TLC making a time reverse artifact and final battle. Like some commenters said, lots of flashbacks memories that can be irritating, but I guess it’s director way of trying to cement deeper emotions.

There is another person who betrayed TLC, however that you should watch then it’s more fun with the surprise.

To be exact, all that happen in ep 40. The final fight.

Nope, no showing of killing creator B from celestial realm, no righting of wrong as TLG reverse time to the very beginning that he wasn’t even born…the ending scene just shows YM never come to earth and TLC maybe reborn as a white fox also aka into a black dragon 🤷🏻‍♀️. You can say the writer choose an easy ending by not needing to explain everything and just press reset button😅. Hence you will see some viewers very pissed.

Remember FZ’s earlier words, “one can sacrifice for the rest to live…” that’s TLC’s ending.

Yup, GMD or puppet of YM is the mastermind. When SLH came back, CY is already dead but he was just in time to help TLC save LY. SLH was tricked by Xi Feng Tang to go and try obtain the final pearl that he has been collecting for his dead spouse, but in the end he gave up that pearl and came back to help TLC.
Another frustration when watching is where the heck is everyone when TLC needed help, it’s like the typical Hong Kong Police drama, that when the good guys are so severely beaten than the police arrives😅.

CY was going around searching for TLC and bumped into a trapped set by GMD, which those people who he sent to attack CY will died and transmit their poison blood onto CY, remember an early ep. where the birdman’s son exploded and die? That’s the poison that affected CY and there is no cure.
Yeah SLH was missing in action, he was called away, which I find such wasted, he should have stay and help…sigh. SLH has his own Obession.

TLC reminded XFT what she truly wanted, which is freedom, and at the final arc when she realizes that GMD/YM will not truly release her instead wants to absorb her powers to bring YM/YQYY back, she chooses to die and deflect her power off by also killing the puppet GMD, her act cause an impact on YM, which then TLC can take the opportunity to stab him. And in that choice, she made for herself is what she feels as freedom.

GMD doesn’t die as he is one of the puppet, there are other puppets which Ye Mo kept his traces of soul which will only revealed in last ep.
TLC didn’t realise that, so XFT is still working with GMD to infiltrate the Alliance and they can kill Master Shao using the part that TLC hide Liu Yan away so to make antidote and only Master Shao knows and been sending the necessary herbs to LY to experiment antidote.
XFT didn’t change direction, it’s what TLC said to her and reminded her what she wants and in the end she chooses to sacrifice herself and not let her powers be absorb to bring YeMo back. There is really a lot of plot happening 😅. I can share some here but still not really complete, apology if I confuses you further😅.

TLC and feels that his faith is injustice and he gone through so much and still doesn’t get a happy ending. But he did as he was born, he doesn’t know love, things were conditioned around him, till he met FZ and his gang, till he met his birth mom, and many new friends, does he realise he had been loved and he wants to do in his ability to save them all. But we will still grief for his character…the almost omnipotent sacrifices….just wish he can be worshipped as the savior or at least someone knew him. 😓
I actually felt XFT’s choice she made for herself is the most novel act of all being human…the rest of the human died without much choice. She is to me the best grey character I love. lol.

Yes, I do feel that similarity from TTJ/DMG, he transcends to the celestial realm and yet suffered and then sacrifice in the end for humanity but still was forgotten. Wish there is a possibility that they know him and worship him😓.

I agreed with the overuse of flashbacks. I do encourage that you watch till the end, as it’s actually rewarding, especially TLC and GUI MuDan’s interaction.;)
