And yes, ML has the same poison as he was experimented on as slave, his Master didn’t have the complete GMD cure so he is only half cured and she gave him the GMD antidote which he didn’t use. ML will get heal at ep 34.

In our view, it’s acceptable. In those times and the culture, it’s not, and forbidden especially when she begs ML’s mom to accept her into Wei family, she is acknowledged by the elders, to be the brother’s wife and she also moan for the death.

IMO, the romance is good, as the leads chemistry is on 🔥.They started with agenda and their together wasn’t real, but set on deception. It’s a story on how they learnt to be true for each other. There is a SML who is obsessed with FL, however FL since beginning was always clear that she is not interested. You may have to watch till ep 5-6 where the story picks up. The first few ep to me, may feel a little drag as it was just FL trying ways to get close to ML, there was a little overuse of humor. To some the story seems typical XianXia tropes, but to most of us, it’s the CP and the build up of these CP, their acting of the roles that is fun to watch. Try it;)
