I enjoyed it for the most part, and would watch it a 2nd time. I mean, it's not perfect, but to me it had a good mix of romance, politics and fighting.
How will 4 days pass by...i need the next ep asap...i kept telling myself i shud have waited till the 10th ep…
I've watched each episode 2 or 3 times, and I still notice little details I missed. I also hope there are more dream sequences because they're filmed beautifully.
Such a fantastic series. I'm looking forward to re-watching eps 1-10 when Part 1 is finished. I can't wait until eps 7 to see what unfolds after the eps 6 cliffhanger. I did see the preview, so I know it'll be good. So far I think eps 1 and 4 are my favorites, but all of them have been great.
1. The person from mental asylum shown in ep1 may b Ryang Eum.2. Higher persons who asked to take care of ryang…
Yeah, nobody knows what the ending will be other than the writer,, director and cast. Everything else is pure speculation at this point. Little clues here and there could mean nothing, and very well meant to throw us off. A whole lot of maybe's.
When Jang Hyun saw the dagger on the sick soldier, I really felt for him and what he must've thought at the time. And the scene where Gil Chae was running on the beach to get to the boat while arrows were flying by her was intense as hell. So many intense scenes in that eps, but those two I remember the most.
if i’m not wrong based on historical events the war wouldn’t be over? because they were completely defeated.…
Yeah I'd say the war definitely isn't over. The outbreak of smallpox just likely bought them some needed time. I'm glad I don't know the history tbh. I might look into it after the show though.
Kdramas (historicals) barely show war scenes maybe a few and cdramas most is CGI, this is what I like about this…
I'm looking forward to their reunion and some sort of normalcy after eps 6 intensity. I think the smallpox outbreak might've saved them for the time being. I'm curious to see how Jang Hyun recovers since he seems to have it also. Next episode preview looks promising, although I usually skip previews, I just had to see this one for some peace of mind I suppose. lol
Well, that was fn intense. I found myself getting emotional during some parts. You know it's damn good when it pulls you in like that. Next week's episode 7 preview looks great.
OMG Episode 6 again, was giving me so much anxiety like If it wasn't for the previews I was going to have a heart…
I'll watch tonight. Btw, the rating on IMDB is up to 9.0 from 8.7 previously. Not a lot of reviews yet over there, but some idiotic one's as usual on IMDB haha
Just finished episode 5. What an amazing drama! Have all the ingredients to become an all time classic! It does…
Well said. Yeah most people are good with leaving a spoiler tag, so you should be ok. I also like the banter between the two. I think Gil Chae has already slipped up a time or two and semi-confessed without realizing what she said haha.
So…. My Dearest is somewhat a bit based on Gone with the Wind. Would be cool if they made a Kdrama somewhat…
I've seen all of Outlander so far, but I'm about ready for it to come to an end. Like you said it would make for a good Kdrama, but without showing the full explicit scenes. Maybe leaving it to the viewers imagination. :)
Looking forward to eps 6 later today. Looking back; eps 1 and 4 are my favorites so far.
Like when he sees the blood on her dagger and reflects on what she must've endured. "I'm proud of you" was a defining…
I'm with you. At some point I'll invest one day and watch the whole thing in succession. I might re-watch 1-6 in a few days since I always miss some details.
Im so lucky that I decided to watch this drama, it is so well executed, acted, script, cinematography not your…
I think the audience will be much larger later on, once more people hear about it. IMO the IMDB rating will be right at 9.0 by series end. It's already at 8.7 now with not many reviews given yet. Like you said; I do like their journey, their banter, and watching them slowly falling in love. Love and War would've been a fitting title for this one. The writer picked the perfect director and cast.
I can't wait until eps 7 to see what unfolds after the eps 6 cliffhanger. I did see the preview, so I know it'll be good. So far I think eps 1 and 4 are my favorites, but all of them have been great.

This site has the 8.3
Looking forward to eps 6 later today. Looking back; eps 1 and 4 are my favorites so far.
I've still yet to watch Six Flying Dragons. Maybe that'll occupy me.
