I agree! The 2nd FL is annoying and toxic as fuck, every time she appears I get pissed off! But in a way I can't…
Exactly. I'm not too crazy about how he abandoned her suddenly after 10 years either tbh. They did it in such a way as to show that neither of them were at fault, but the situation, but it keeps that revolving door open for the love triangle. I really could do without her and her mother. It adds nothing to the story.
Ahn Soo Ho is the most antipathetic one if we compare the profil they wanted to create. Bum seok was dealing so…
Every single person who bullied Beom Seok >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Soo Ho's one comment.
Soo Ho never 'pushed him' to the bad side. Beom Seok is a typical weakling who needs constant validation to justify his existence. His low self esteem was the main reason behind every decision he made.
Even if Soo Ho wasn't sincere towards Beom Seok, it doesn't explain nor justify Beom Seok's over-reaction to how he was treated.
However, it's very obvious that Beom Seok worshipped Soo Ho, and wanted his attention on him and solely on him. And like all toxic relationships, when he didn't get it, he blamed it all on Soo Ho and wanted to destroy him, because punishing Soo Ho for not being the friend he wanted him to be was the only way he could justify his hatred for not getting what he wanted.
It's typical toxic behaviour and entitlement he has learned from his father. Basically, the only way this could have been avoided is if Soo Ho acted the way Beom Seok's minions did, constantly looking at him and validating his existence.
Personally, I enjoyed it. There was something very refreshing about quiet strength being the main catalyst for the story. I appreciated the character growth, I also appreciated how the relationships were organically written. Nothing felt forced, and that is very rare in kdramas these days.
I wish this show had a feel good vibe with teamwork and no love triangle. The show doesn't know what it wants to be, so it's a mess. - It's trying to get traction by manufacturing a ship war.
So this drama typically has the same plot as Lee Jong gi's (again my life ) recent drama the same reborn and the…
I don't see that as a bad thing. Kdramas are notorious for re-using premises over and over. It's very rare to find a completely unique premise. I tend to stick to the premises I like, and since I liked Again My Life, I know that this will be exactly the kind of drama I enjoy. - Revenge dramas generally follow the same vein.
*spoiler alert* there's something about the ending i'm not quite sure..maybe some can help solve this puzzle >
When the gardener used the spoon, the person who's house he coveted was Hwang Taeyong. At that moment in time, Lee Seung Chun was Hwang Taeyong. So, naturally, they swapped. It didn't matter at that time who that particular Hwang Taeyong used to be. Because at that moment, he was Hwang Taeyong. - Hope that helps.
Ya'll... That ending was perfect for the series. Everyone pays the price, and in a way, Lee Seung Chun gets what he always wanted and what he mistook money to be: peace.
another questionHyundo didn't know that Seo Juntae was his son? how is that possible?
I figured it was arrogance. He knows everything. There is nothing he doesn't know. He said he never wanted kids. So even if a woman he hooked up with gets pregnant, he would have never imagined that he was the father because he wasn't interested.
Well, it was a 10⭐ for me all the way BECAUSE I thought they would avoid the break-up. After I watch ep. 16…
I'm glad you enjoyed it so far. I think I would have enjoyed it more had they focused more on the marriage contract aspect of her life instead of the conglomerate drama that it has now become. I don't think that part was written very well for me. I wish the show was similar to A Business Proposal with maybe 12 episodes where they focus on the kinds of clients she had as a single life helper, and have all sorts of shenanigans like in the previous episodes.
It makes me laugh every single time. lmao.

Do the writers not know how to extend the episodes besides resorting to this cheap and really boring trick???
Either reduce the number of episodes or go back to focusing on touching stories of people who died like the first few episodes.
This just went from a 7.5 to a 6.5
Favourite comedy of the year so far.
