Found this on YT. Anyone knows what movie is this about? Seems like its Win's first movie.https://youtu.be/HQhcSatnXrA
I read in the comments that it's supposed to be a short film like 2-3 years ago but nothing eventually came out of it. This video is just the initial introduction of the two main leads that were cast.
Maybe you're not really paying attention to the series. Ep 5 and 6 is not just drinking and suffering from memory…
When I was in University, lots of Law students I know are stupid as hell, lol, so for Tine to be dumb and oblivious to Sarawat's feelings is quite believable, haha! I mean, stupid ukes are dime a dozen in BL shows, it's just fiction so don't be too harsh on the believable aspect of it.
Another thing you guys seem to arguing here is about the gay LGBT label thing. I have pointed out before that perhaps people should really lay off the labels and just enjoy the stories as they are; love stories. It really doesn't matter what gender the person is, as long as you love the other person then that's good enough. I always notice that whenever a guy falls for another guy, he will be under immense pressure from society to immediately label his sexuality; he will be either gay or bi. However, the same rule doesn't apply to women, they can fall in love with other women, have sex with them and yet still identify as straight and people have no issue of that; they said it's becos women are more 'fluid'??? I was like, wtf?? I believe this all comes down to cultural values in Western societies, which for better or worse are influencing the rest of the world. Sexual identity is a concept created in the West back in 1950s I believe and from then onward, people have to label their sexuality based on who they choose to sleep with. In most ancient Asian societies, homosexuality among men are quite common and these men are not labeled gay or bi cos these concepts doesn't exist in those times, and fortunately as well those societies then have no homophobia at all. Men sleeping with other men are considered normal then. Even in the West, if you guys read about the Kinsey scale, the researchers conclude most people are actually somewhat Bi meaning they can be attracted to both genders.
Sorry for the long rant, I just want to point out that while BL stories are a fantasy, please don't be annoyed at those characters that are supposedly straight but are 'only gay' for the guys that they fall in love with. Maybe the LGBT community would found this harmful but I honestly believe the sooner people move away from unnecessary labels, the better the world would be. Now let me get back to rewatching the latest ep, I just love Sarawat and Tine so damn much, lol!
The camera angle and the fingers blocking the kiss scene is a bit annoying but Sarawat's anguish and intense stares kept me glued to the edge of my seat,...I was really feeling his hurt and desperation so kudos to Bright for portraying that scene really well. And then I saw the preview for Ep 6 where Tine was complaining about "whether between Green and Sarawat, who is most dangerous?" had me laughing like a crazy idiot hahaha! I really felt for Tine who only wants to hit on cute girls and right now he has two guys chasing after him, lmao!
The political arc seems to be resolved quite quickly, so ultimately it feels a lil unsatisfactory, perhaps? No complaints about the action though, love all the zombie killing. Certain plot lines are not explained properly, the one about the worms and cure seems a bit confusing, perhaps I would need to watch it again for more clarity. Season 3 is hinted with a new villain, so let's see how it goes.
Well for one family oriented cultures promote family ¯\_(ツ)_/¯The reason that people who dislike children…
Not liking annoying kids does not mean that you would hate on your family members or friends who have kids. You are correct in saying that everyone was once a kid but people's circumstances were different. When I was a kid, my parents would make sure that I behave well and respectfully in social events, cos if I misbehave at all, I know I would get to enjoy some ass-spanking, lol! Kids nowadays are spoiled silly and what is worst their parents give in to their every demand. These kids would ultimately grow up to be selfish and mean adults, thanks to those useless parents. Having children and not having children is a choice, but it does seems annoying to always see people who does not want children or like children would one day come around to liking them. You know, there are people who do love their nephews and nieces or their friends' kids, but they just would not want children of their own. And that should be something that is okay.
To be honest this is one of my favorite BL novel, it's quite a turn off knowing they will add cliché fiancee…
I think they do it so the story is more realistic. In the novel, Solo's father was described as looking a lot like Solo, and look much younger than his age when his real age is around late 30s. How are you going to cast an actor to play this kind of character? I mean, are you going to cast a young actor and he acts like the father, or are they going to cast an older actor and use makeup and production software to hide his real age? Lol, this is not going to work, so changing the storyline to better adapt it to the screen needs to be done. I don't mind the third party drama. Like the commenter below, I enjoy jealous storylines, haha!
Watched this on Netflix, at first the jokes were a lil lame, and it wasn't until after around 30 mins into the movie that the story really picks up. The original cast perform well, they have great chemistry together as per before. Gus end up with Win, and I am sorry to say that while understandable, since the movie is set 5 years after season 2, it is very disappointing. The fault lies in how the character of Win is boring as hell and the actor who plays him is not skilled enough to portray the character better. There is zero chemistry between the actor and Petch who plays Gus, compared to Petch and Jaylerr who plays Top. I also realized that they don't even have kiss scene together, not in this movie and not in the tv series. In comparison, Jaylerr play Top really well and his charisma really comes through, not to mention the fact that he and Petch have even performed a love scene together before! That is why most fans root for GusTop and not GusWin. I would have change the script to allow GusTop a happy ending together if I were the scriptwriter.
I also don't understand why people who hates kids are always portrayed unfavorably and that usually by the ending of the film/drama they would have come around to embrace their new role as the kids' parent/guardian lovingly. This is unbelievable annoying to see and there is nothing wrong with couples who choose not to have kids cos they don't like children. It doesn't mean that they hate children so much that they would be abusive towards them(lol), it is just that they do not want them in their lives. It is a matter of preference. Many couples I know, straight/gay do not like children and so they choose not to have them. It is boring to see Gus suddenly likes children becos Win like children. What a lazy plot.
And Golf's mature lover suddenly become a monk in the start of this movie, so Golf is alone again and then no new lover was introduced, I was like, what??? That's it? And I was confused cos previously, Golf works as a producer on a finance/economics show and in this movie, he is a makeup artist? I mean,..it's 5 long years and people do change their careers but it would have been better if this was mentioned in the plot. And Natty's plastic surgeon love interest has all but disappear with no mention at all.
Great to see the cast again but bored with the story and absent plot lines. This is definitely the farewell to the franchise cos I would not be able to stomach more boring GusWin scenes again if they want to make another film or series.
Someone really give 4 rating to this drama just by judging only 2 eps so far. Don't know why people are so addicted…
Rated 4 because of the drug scene? Some of these people who are too easily-triggered should actually discipline themselves to not watch any shows rated PG-13 and above. They should stick to Suitable for All Age Groups shows such as Sesame Street and some kiddie cartoons. This show is rated 15+, why the hell that idiot even bother to check this out when she know she will be triggered by one or more scenes? Masochist tendencies perhaps, lol!
The popularity rating for this series on MDL is #26987LOLWhat's going on here? With so many comments and traffic…
When I checked the ratings today I was shocked that it was rated that low????? I read somewhere here that some idiot got upset with the drug scene in EP 1, so she rated it low. These dumb kids,...they always get upset over some stupid silly matter, they seem to have an issue with differentiating the real from the fantasy! Who the hell even taught these idiots? That's why Taylor Swift said it best: "This is why we can't have nice things"
The sticky note. Such a simple moment but made my heart flutter.
I believe it is meant to be a product placement but we can see there that Sarawat is clearly jealous and again, this is another hint that shows he is in love with the clueless Tine since the beginning! Love that scene!
I just watched the recent episodes and they are enjoyable~ I wanna mention how good the actors are! The stares,…
I agree with you,...there's all these little things in those scenes to hint that Sarawat is the one who fall in love with Tine first,...Bright's reaction in that scene was quite well-delivered,...he is such a good actor! He made Sarawat such a hottie! And Win is so damn adorable and cute! I love the scene in EP2 where he smiled widely after Sarawat agreed to be his fake boyfriend! His smile there melt my heart!
Special mention to Gun who played Green, this guy always play the effeminate loud gay man but really, he slayed it so I don't feel annoyed at all! Can't wait for the twist later! :-)
It feels like first season of Lost, lots of unanswered questions, few answers. Production is great, but it does feel a bit too Westernized. I mean, I get that they attended an expensive private school, but it looks and feels like a typical American high school. Do private schools in Thailand look that way, lol? Arisa the character is another Westernized SJW who is quite annoying and she grates on my nerves a lot; would really like for her to be killed off. I also feel like the only reason they put PerthMark in this story is for them to act as clickbait to attract the BL fans; Mark's character was killed off early and they really don't do justice to such a lovely pairing. Season 2 is not announced yet and I'm not sure if ever there will be a season 2. Would I watch it if it happens? Well, sure, but if it does not I wouldn't really miss it much.
I am quite sure this show will be quickly forgotten after the end. I can be wrong, sure, but after more than a…
I feel like this series is quite slow-moving, a bit boring to be honest. But I doubt it will be quickly forgotten. It has huge viewcounts, and Thai fans absolutely love it. I believe it will stay on and perhaps makes its mark in the Bl genre.
Wow, I'm excited to see this can't wait the trailer blew me away. @Rebecca Blaque Before you make any criticisms…
That Rebecca nutjob is an online troll, her hobby is to trash Thai BL productions and Thai people. I feel like she is a closet racist what with her constant anger directed towards Thai people.
Yes, Mew is way older than his character but I suppose most people still accepted him as Tharn because he did…
Season 2 is based on the second TharnType novel rite? I heard that this takes place during their adult working life so if that is the case, Mew would be closer in age to Tharn, haha! Yup, will be looking forward to a better production for SS2!
Believe me its nothing like TOL. I can't believe its the same author. I have issues with Theory of Love too. Even…
Theory of Love is great. It's just a more mature type of BL drama than those typically cheesy romances of this genre. I said it before that ToL kinda reflects real life with the MC falling in an unrequited love with someone full of flaws. It is how love happens, you fall in love with the bad boy, even though you know it might hurt you. Love is never logical or rational. I'm glad they have a happy ending; I actually find it very emotionally satisfying that the couple has to weather through many storms before they ended up together. In real life, I know of people who have gone through that kind of hell and so I can relate in a way.
No one's coming at u lol. Ppl have different reasons for watching BL. Here the music, acting, CHEMISTRY (insert…
Haha, I don't hate Mew, I only felt that his age shows in some of the scenes. The character that I love the most happens to be Lhong, lol! I felt like his acting is really great and it helps a lot that the actor is very cute! I enjoyed all his scenes, and hope to see more of him in other BL dramas, perhaps as the main MC or ML instead of the villain, but hey, I wouldn't have any complaints whatsoever if he is playing the villain role again, what with his devilishly cute face!
Yes, Mew is way older than his character but I suppose most people still accepted him as Tharn because he did…
Agreed about the age thing. It's just that I always watches drama on my PC monitor in HD, and you can kinda see his age shows on his face especially during close up shots. So that kinda struck me, haha! Better makeup and camera works, post production etc, would definitely resolve this I believe.
So, 28 is "too" old to play college student roles???? And yet, people complain Asian don't age.
I'm not saying 28 is too old. I'm saying that his age shows in some of the scenes, especially during close-up shots of his face. Like what I mentioned before, I believe maybe better camerawork and makeup would resolve this, though this is a small production so perhaps this is understandable.
