I think they were meant to be complete idiots, not mocking Sikhs. If anyone took that as a serious depiction of…
Tell this to the China productions. They always show Japanese as the bad guys. And to the Western productions as well. They always depict Japanese girls in schoolgirl uniforms and Japanese guys as silly, awkward otakus. Here at least in this show, they don't show the Sikhs as bad people.
Okay so I started this because I liked the premise of it - the whole makeover thing and also the one-sided rivalry…
You need to take a chill pill. This is a fluffy, over the top comedy with a lot of slapsticks humor. The Sikh scene is meant to be funny, many Indian fans actually find it really funny and they appreciate the inclusion of that scene with Bollywood song references. The shipping culture is huge in Asian countries and you are absolutely correct by saying the behavior of the shippers are creepy and even GMMTV has posted an announcement a few days ago to warn the fans not to follow their artists back to their homes. However, it's quite obvious the shippers are included here as funny side characters; it even seems like a parody in how they over-imagine scenes of Mork and Pi. Those two actors who play the shippers work with the director before in the Girl Next Room Richy Rich and they are meant to spiced up the comedy here. I understand if people don't like the style of comedy but to accuse it of being all sorts of toxic culture thingy is just silly to me. Not everything in life has to conform to your beliefs. I mean, in many action films, the hero/heroine would have kill multiple villains, and people would have cheer that, even though in real life they're most likely will be arrested as it's not their place to execute others and the correct course of action would be to charge the villains in court. People don't find it offensive as they know this is all fake, just part of entertainment. Same goes for here.
Exactly, I'm not even pissed that they didn't do Bad buddy or Not me, I just love how FUTS shamelessly uses the…
Bad Buddy and Not Me are both scheduled to be filmed in the middle of the year from what I heard, but looking at the current Covid 19 situation in Thailand, there might be further delays, at least until the situation stabilised.
Well in the comment section on youtube looked like the other way around, lots of comments of Indians who find…
Exactly, my Indian friends didn't even freak out and they all love the Bollywood reference! Some of them do say perhaps more colourful Punjabi suits would have added more depth to the scenes but they find it funny nonetheless! :-)
Mocking culture scene which many Indians find offensive and inappropriate exists:Non-Indians : Wow lol that was…
It was not meant to mock, it was just meant to be funny. Those silly boys are trying to disguise themselves and they dressed up as Sikhs. It was meant to be slapstick comedy. Many Indians actually love the tribute, the director even shared an IG post from an Indian fan who is absolutely thrilled with the inclusion of Indian culture and Bollywood songs. Stop being overly sensitive please.
He's dead in the ground. I don't see how that's gonna work
It does seems like they are setting this up as a potential season 2. Kimhan might live again since the voice explicitly told him that 'I have a proposal for you'.
Undoubtedly, this First's breakout moment and proves that he can play a lead role just like Ohm.
Really love First. He is so adorable. I would love to see him in a series together with his 'brother' Tay Tawan' and his beloved P' Bright, it would be so much fun!
The finale is a downer as WayKim does not have a happy ending. Kim dies and I fully understand fans frustrations with his character being killed off and that he does not have the chance to live his life happily with Way. But then I stay and watch after the credits rolled and another scene of Kim in heaven appears. This time, an unidentified voice spoke to him "เรามีข้อเสนอบ้างอยากให้" which means "Kimhan, I have a proposal for you", and Kim disappears in a puff of smoke. My dying heart starts beating excitedly again at this teaser, it kinda means there might be a season 2 where Kim lives again!!! One can only hope :-)
He is getting more and more endorsements and became so popular that the high five does not affect his popularity at all. Separate the character from the actor please. And he does not even wrote the script. Go direct your hate elsewhere. For example, your mom. Cos she does not raise you well enough to separate reality from fiction.
Lol MCU does put fake scenes in the trailer to prevent spoilers. They even edit out entire characters so we don't…
It is just one show that disappoints you, does not mean all the shows from the same studio sucks. For GMMTV, you can watch other BL series such as Theory of Love, He's Coming to Me, Dark Blue Kiss, and Sotus. These are the popular ones. Studio Wabi Sabi produced the excellent Love By Chance, and then UWMA doesn't really hold up in my opinion, so it can be a hit or miss thingy with series production. I am biased but I still love 2gether. It introduce BrightWin to me and for that I am always grateful.
This is very entertaining and the production quality is great. I love how Prigkhing carries her role here, she was quite good and initially I dislike her as I remember her as the screamer Fai from Theory of Love who is rough with my baby Third, haha! Her acting is good, and First's acting is really great as well, he is so cute in many scenes! P'Jennie is definitely the icing on the cake, she makes me laugh whenever she appears! Hope this show will get more viewers as it is absolutely fun to watch and the acting is really good as well!
Managed to find decent English subs for this show and I finally finished this series. There might be fewer episodes but please note that the episode length are usually an hour or even more. Very lovely and touching story. I love how the plot slowly unfolds and Sorry to Peraya fans but Ohm and Singto made a far better couple cos Singto is always super cute and has an uke quality to him, and in this show he plays the uke, so it is super great, lol! I would rate this as one of the best BL series in recent years. Absolutely love it!
I made a Spotify playlist containing ALL the background musics of this drama (I watched it backwards lol, from…
Thanks a lot! After I finished this show almost a year ago I was searching for the background OSTs every now and then and I am so glad and thankful you appeared with this! Thank you so much, you are doing god's work!
Mydramalist seems to be a place for disgruntled fans to trash series and leave super negative comments. I'm just glad that the popularity of those series they trashed here are not at all affected cos people don't bother about silly comments from triggered immature idiots, whose voices are maybe loud here but ultimately they only made up of how many people in real life? A hundred at most? Duh, the vast majority would not be bothered by the 'perceived flaws' you all see in these shows, they understand that this is all just a few hours of entertainment and people have better things to do than simply trashing some shows over and over again.
Alright, for TharnType, the show is obviously not perfect but it is quite good. The annoying part here seems to be those triggered immature snowflakes who keeps on harping about how Lhong finds his redemption, how Tharn raped Type, how Type is homophobic, how a gay man does not behave like this, how toxis the series is,...blah blah blah. You watch a BL show and expect it to portray everything realistically? How a gay man is portrayed,...does that mean Rupaul's Drag Race would be a fine example of how gay men act in real life? What about all those famous Kdramas where a guy and girl met and their subsequent romance happens, is it all portrayed realistically as well? What about superhero movies, are they supposed to be portrayed in realistic terms as well? What silly nonsense.
People are not stupid, they watch a show and they know it is just entertainment and a form of escape. No one would bother watching movies and shows if all the scenes are depicted realistically; people might as well be watching documentaries then. And my apologies, to all those who complained about rape, I'm sorry but rape fantasy is a part of many BL fiction and the reason they continue to include rape fantasies is becos it is simply a popular plot device. Fans love it. Not right for you? Go take a hike then. At the end of the day, it is all just a fantasy. And I'm not the only one who says people should enjoy their rape fantasies, many sex therapists sees no harm in this as well. My advice to people who does not agree with this, you don't have to watch it. Pass it on. This is not for you. The ratings are 18+. It is for true adults who know how to separate fact from fiction.
"All the traces of romance have been removed"Sure, I call my friend soulmate and give her intimate gazes and also…
Romantic gestures and dialogues that had to be hidden? Those that cannot come across as too apparent or else it would be banned? Sorry, not my cup of tea. It might be just your preference.
2gether had many romantic gestures and because the last two eps were disappointing people go around trashing it by saying the leads have no chemistry, no romantic scenes, the acting is bad. When it first started airing everyone was praising it, and then their opinions turn 180 degree because there is no ending kiss scene. It just shows how many people have short-term memory loss. Superficiality at its best.
