It's obviously not a perfect series but to me this is by far the best BL series we have in years. Plotwise not the best but the execution, the acting, the cinematography and all the lil bits add up to make this a fantastic action BL series, and we don't actually have much BL series in this action genre, the only other one I could think of is Not Me. Chan's death scene is so funny in its bad acting that I laughed nonstop, from the moment he got shot by Gun, and still managed to fight off other henchmen, then to make that silly phone call to warn Kinn, and finally the cheesy 'last cigarette puff before he's gone' scene. Someone should hv coach him to make it more believable as the way he moves after being shot multiple times seems like he was barely injured at all lol! Ending seems to be quite obvious to setup the plot for season 2. Porsche's mother is giving lots of suspicious vibes with her looks and reactions when her sons drop by to visit, and most tellingly Korn using the phrase "history are written by the victors". Seems fairly likely the true main villain has been Korn all along, and like what Gun said, he is power-hungry and will do anything to protect his power. Understandable. They are the bad guys, the mafia. Once you are at the top you really can't rest easy as everyone below will constantly plot to take you down. Will wait patiently for season 2 :-)
Also why did Porche just took the mafia job without any questions? He did have a choice right? Like forgive me…
It's quite obvious this is to set up the plotline for season 2. Korn seems to be the main villain here, and his phrase "history are written by the victors" seems to clearly hint that he is concealing some truth and manipulating ppl to suit his agenda.
It's scheduled to come out in September. Here's hoping nothing throws it off.
PondPhuwin already mentioned this will likely come out by end of the year in a recent appearance on the ArmShare show. Jojo the director is filming The Warp Effect at the moment while prepping up for Midnight Laundry. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up showing by early next year.
They are on Q16 now (Film Pawis IG) and The Eclipse is on Q3 (Louis IG). I love how they keep fans on track of…
Can someone explain what does Q16 and Q3 means? Is it 'Quarter'? I know it's some reference to filming schedules but how many numbers/phases are there?
Pond and Phuwin has been going to gym regularly to prepare themselves for their roles in this series, and I am honestly so excited to see this! This is my most anticipated BL from GMMTV this year, though I believe it will only be released by end of the year the earliest.
Does anyone know if he has any religion?. Islam or anything?.
I know the fact that his father is an Iranian Muslim and with that name so many ppl assume he is a practicing Muslim, but he is in fact a practicing Buddhist like his Thai mother. I kinda feels that there seems to be some stigma here that if you're a Muslim then you should not be acting in gay storylines, but this is none of anybody's concern and business to be honest. Even if someone is a Muslim, if they wanna act in BL or have homosexual relationships in real life, then others don't have any right to stop them.
When they say is a BL-inspired lakorn I kinda know there will be lots of drama and twist and turns but I did not expect the super long draggy episodes lol! I snooped around and it turns out a lot of Thai lakorns do have a running time of 1 hour and a half for each eps! So that is really an experience lol! The ending is such a mess to be honest. I dunno how P'Nut can so easily moved on within days of Tofu's apparent death; it was kinda like a day or two later then he already fall back in love with his ex, and I was like wth? The bad guys which is the rich annoying heiress to the company was not punished and seems to get away scot-free. And we don't hear anymore from Jan after she killed Tofu. It seems so messy to me. The worst part of the show is the irritating and constantly crying P'Nut's mother who is a self-perpetuating victim. She really get on my nerves with her constant need for attention and silly victimhood complex, and I just wanna jump in the story to slap the life out of her whenever she cries lol! My favourite scene is from ep 7 I believe, where Jan confronted her and pulled her hair! I was actually cheering her on when that happens! Anyway, the acting here of the leads are great, especially Job and In. I also find it really funny that there are so many references to In's real life pastry and fashion businesses in the series, from the bracelet and tees and pastries.
This is a basic, fluffy BL series with a simple fuss-free plot. No annoying exes and over-the-top plotlines. It is a good watch but with the variety of shows we have today this kinda gets a bit boring. Personally I rated this highly because of the insane chemistry between JoongDunk; it is them who carried the show till the end. If the leads have no chemistry then this show will fall flat on its face, a great example would be Enchante. Here's to the semi-sequel series Sky In My Heart, it seems to have a bit more serious tone than this one so let's see what happens first. And I hope since JoongDunk has proven themselves here in this series, and they have also successfully gain a lot of fans, that GMMTV would give them another BL series to perform in. I would personally prefer a more mature storyline that will showcase their acting range.
oh then you might wanna stay away from Secret Crush on You. The childishness of that one will have you ripping…
I dislike Secret Crush on You. The non-stop screaming and crappy acting really annoys me. You like something doesn't mean others will like it the same.
I keep watching for Joong only, I can't stand Dunk's voice and face at all, or the way he plays. The role does…
Are you kidding??? his voice is super cute with its deep tones and when he laughs it's even better!!! His looks are great as well, and the most important thing is his chemistry with Joong is off the charts!
It’s a crime that this series only has 8 episode :((
nah, I actually prefer that they keep it short, cos the story is quite simple and straight forward. No real twists here. Cos otherwise if they stretch it unnecessarily, it risked becoming a snoozefest like Enchante or god-forbid the absolutely horrible Oxygen
really really really can't understand why dao is interested at all in khabkhlen he has literally zero personality…
Kluen is super attractive, so Dao might hv fallen for him becos of his looks.
But gurl, love is a very strange thing. I was once in love with someone who is just plain-looking(lol), keeps lying and doesn't really care for my existence. But you see pass all those bad qualities when you are in love, that's just how it works.
Lol you all here were like dropping this series over some lil 'forced kissing' scenes but then were raving about KinnPorsche which I believe will have more 'questionable' scenes soon???
Don't get me wrong, I loved both series and KinnPorsche is my absolute favourite BL series airing now. But the hypocrisy is just silly :-)
Schedule for CHECK OUT series- CUT VERSION 13+ Channel: Amarin TVEpisode: 12 Run time: 45 minsRelease: 11-Jun-2022…
Can someone advise regarding the Youtube membership thingy? I read comments that mentioned you need to register as a member in 9NAA's individual Youtube account. How do we do that?
The best BL series airing now. Absolutely loved it and the cliffhanger from ep 5 just gets me even more excited to see what happen next! :-) Both Apo and Mile are really killing it with their superb acting performance!
You don't hv to worry much. The directors already mentioned in an interview that they have rewritten the VegasPete scenes to make it more 'palatable'. So I believe the rape thing might be written out. Honestly it don't bother me at all cos this is all fiction and it's set in the mafia world, but I believe some ppl might take it the wrong way; they might see it as romanticizing rape.
Honestly I don't really bother much about this series when the promo trailer dropped last year cos I thought this would be a bit 'meh'. But I was really surprised by JoongDunk's natural chemistry when they appear in SafeHouse SS3; they were so cute and lovable together and so I decided to give this series a chance. First ep is quite solid, pacing is fast and just as I expected JoongDunk's chemistry just shines through the screen so you really do believe their characters' feelings for each other. Hopefully this didn't get ruined by P'New the director, he has ruined the last three series he directed - UWMA, My Gear and Your Gown and the god-awful Love By Chance season 2.
