I can definitely relate to Sun Rok as a fellow introvert who loves to party alone at home and recharge. On Fridays, I log off early from work and go buy a nice drink and takeout to enjoy while watching dramas.😌 Sun Rok broke the Introvert Cardinal Rule: Never take calls or check emails during weekends!🫵 Monday will come, so leave it be.

I’m curious to see how the writers will make Sun Rok and Yumi compatible. Sun Rok barely has enough battery for himself, so realistically, Yumi would be an exhausting partner. Yumi already wore him out as a colleague.😅 That man’s brain melted and all he could do was smile at her, because he was too exhausted to speak.😂

Nobody ate the cake! Why are dramas like this?😭 How is the cake delicious if you never took a bite, Sun Rok??? They didn’t even offer to wrap it up for him to take home.😩

I don’t like how they sanitized Kwon PD’s toxic artist management.😅 There’s a balance. You can still drive sales without pushing artists towards developing cardiovascular disease and mental illness.😩 In the long run, you burn people out and don’t get the full results. The fact that he’s big on work/life balance for himself but not the artists is wild!

I’m loving it! Honestly, the security guard angle would’ve been a good story too, but I suppose that would be too close to “Strong Woman Bong Soon.” FL is adorable.

Sun Rok is a nice change of pace in the ML Kingdom! He’s not the typical archetype. We’re seeing an FL get irritated for fresher reasons. I like how Sun Rok has mystery around him- not in a cool way but simply because he’s reserved and not loud or intense. He doesn’t wear his heart on his sleeve and is difficult to read. I’m curious about him. I also like his sharp style. He lacks self-awareness and gives stereotypical “only child vibes, so it’ll be interesting seeing how things play out with Yumi.

My girl Yumi is financially secure and still looking homely.🥀 She’s potentially dipping into the noona love pond looking very “dated” in this tragic haircut and ill-fitting fashions.😭 In the words of the late, great Andre Leon Talley, “ It’s a famine of beauty. The famine of beauty, honey! My eyes are starving for beauty!” We need Style Cell.

Anyway, this season is off to a strong start! I hope Yumi gets her happy romantic ending.❤️

I really hoped for a glow-up from the “kindergarten scissor accident” haircut and troop leader fashions now that she’s got some coins.😩 Does she have a “Style Cell?”

I had four years to heal from Yoo Babi’s betrayal and get over my frustration with Yumi. I’m ready to jump back in for season 3. I didn’t realize it had started! Kim Jae Won won me over in the Filipino-Korean, covid classic web-drama, “Love from Home.” I’m happy to see him thriving.

I love this style of comedy. Absolutely absurd and endearing. It’s my comfort watch.

Kamin and Jade working on this case together is giving, “You hang up.😘”/“No, you hang up first!😍” How many people have to die before ya’ll solve this case??? Barely anyone is left.🥀 Chief is upset about the wrong things! These two are playing on the taxpayer baht.😩 Jay had one on-duty cop guarding him while a “Final Destination” killer continued to prowl undetected. Turn your badges in neow!😆

I don’t have an answer to why, but there are some good Thai het dramas. Personally, I loved My Lovely Bodyguard and currently enjoying Beauty Reborn. I just started When a Snail Falls in Love, and it looks promising so far. Unfortunately you do have to dig a bit more for quality plots. I notice a lot of het dramas deal with infidelity and revenge.

Finished it in two days! It’s a masterpiece. Evolutionary character development, no rushing to a resolution, and a realistic, thoughtful ending. This drama is very “human.” Like Nak Su, you have to be honest with yourself and ask, “Why do I want this?”

I absolutely adore the psychiatrist. He was so cute!

Phut took that call from Kamin about the toxicology report like a McDonald’s worker telling a customer the ice cream machine is broken and they can’t buy a McFlurry.🥀 He’s the forensics physician but he’s like, “I mean, I don’t know what to tell you. Like, you can call the hospital or whatever and get the reports.” You don’t have any records and you can’t do a follow-up??? I find that odd. I don’t think he’s the killer but perhaps he’s connected to them and gets a payout. It’s a twisted web.

I’m curious where the chief is because he gave Kamin and Jade a week to solve the case and since then they’ve found acid soup and a motor oil panini. He may need to assign the special unit team because Jade and Kamin may literally be roomies with the killer and have clouded judgment.

I’m loving this dramedy! Episode one has me cracking up. No matter if you’re entry level, mid-senior, or senior in your corporate career, you can probably relate to one of these characters or seen one of these corporate scenarios play out. I appreciate how the writers portray the corporate world as the summit where everyone wants to be but not everyone can make it, and how it’s basically hunger games once you’re in! The “jobless” landlord is definitely winning, because what Naksu doesn’t realize is that he’s making his corporation rich, whereas the unglamorous landlord is making himself rich because he’s his own boss! Prestige doesn’t pay the bills.

I’ve never heard of it before, and never saw these two syllables used before in a name. I’m curious if it’s an uncommon name that a small percentage of males have or if it’s one created for the character. It makes me think about Park Sandara (San Da Ra). In her early days, it was often talked about how she had an unusual three syllable name. Her name was supposedly inspired by the nickname of a Korean general.

Listen, I’m not mad at Dr. Love shooting his shot every time he sees Kamin! In any other circumstances, he would win hearts, it’s just that Jade got there first and laid some of the heaviest groundwork humanly possible.🤣 This man takes the opportunity to flirt at every crime scene he’s investigating. Consistency!🔥The doctor is super cute and endearing, so I hope he meets someone else. He can’t overcome Jade’s fortress of bath towels, slick talk, and personal space invasions.🏰

I haven’t seen a single teardrop fall from Jay’s dry, crying eyes yet and he’s got too much tea about these murders!

Poor Junichi! He’s fighting for his life: “You didn’t do it, right? Mina? Mina?!” Keisuke’s volatile reactions and Naoto’s jumpiness make them look the most suspicious right now with Makiko as an accomplice. Junichi is holding the tension between wanting to protect them and finding the truth. He really should be recused from the case as there is a conflict of interest, which Rikako keeps shining the light on. However, I find Junichi’s furious handwashing scenes intentional. That’s usually a classic sign of guilt after a murder. Little Junichi may have shot that bank robber after all and the recent events have made him anxious.

Rikako is very cartoonish.🤣 She really functions like an oddball anime character with her exaggerated body movements and expressions. When she leaned towards Junichi while questioning him and rested her chin on his shoulder while staring at him, it was the craziest thing I’ve seen. Then her tap dancing off camera like Gregory Hines and you just hear “tap, tap, tap.” She’s not letting the “Forest Four” go.

I’m seeing the surrogate father parallels playing out. Masaki probably never threw ball with Keisuke even once, but Junichi was there for him and has a cool job. Keisuke is going to throw a fit because he felt some type of way about Junichi reconnecting with Makiko, suggesting Junichi was trying to spin the block and admitting that when he got with Makiko in his 20s he didn’t want Junichi to steal her from him. Now Keisuke has abandoned his post as a husband and Junichi is about to swoop in and take Makiko. I don’t know what they’re going to do with Junichi’s girlfriend. She’s so insignificant there was no sight or mention of her in episode 3 until the end when he was thinking about Makiko. Junichi has been watching over Makiko all this time!

At the beginning of a word, ㄹ leans toward an R‑like sound. When ㄹ starts a word or syllable, Korean speakers pronounce it with that quick flap, which English speakers hear as an R. 라라 (Ra‑ra) — sounds like “ra-ra,” not “la-la.”

At the end of a syllable, ㄹ sounds more like an L. When ㄹ comes at the end of a syllable, the tongue stays against the ridge behind the teeth longer, making it sound like an L. 별 (byeol) — ends with an L‑like sound.

Can I say I loved self-regulated Ra Ik and Jae Hee in the final episode? Calm nervous systems and friendship restored! An unfortunate tragedy led to healing.❤️‍🩹 Jae Hee, sorry for dragging you in early episodes!😅 I see now that you weren’t a hater, just hurt by Ra Ik telling you your drumming sucked and acted out from pain.🥀

I wish we saw more of the romance! Se Na was motae solo and isolated aside from her friendship with Chung Jae. I feel like the writers forgot about that very core fact. Ra Ik stayed over and she bounced up the next morning to buy his Japanese merch, ignoring him? That was odd to me. She gave herself for the first time and to the person who is her bias of 10 years. But the merch! Even Ra Ik was confused. That was a miss. A lot was stuffed into this drama that the romance plot became secondary in some ways.

Good on the prosecutor going his own way and choosing to live a healthy, balanced life and not destroy innocent people. The fact that his father seemingly doesn’t live close to his mother’s nursing home or see about her speaks volumes. When you think about it, prosecutor was overcompensating for a lot. Now he has peace by letting all that pressure to perform go.

Hye Joo looks gorgeous in mint! She’s serving big time on murder and attempted murder convictions and yet her face card never declines! Hye Joo is an awful person but her beauty stands on business!💐 The “Tofu Queen of Corrections” indeed.👑 I’m sure there are some men out there willing to write her and put some won on her books so she can buy snacks and beauty items from the commissary store.

So happy Chung Jae graduated from the “hobosexual” lifestyle and started his own business and got his own place! I don’t know how he had factored in his mind that the lawyer he was living off of and who supported an idol as a hobby would ever look his way as a potential partner. He even conceded to Ra Ik and admitted to his pettiness. What do we call this? GROWTH!

Ultimately, I really came to enjoy this drama and seeing my boo Kim Jae Young shine like the king he is! His smile could melt a thousand suns. ♥️

Scrubbing the blood off the floor but leaving the body… What does that even do? Hye Joo, girl… There’s still evidence to connect you to the crime.🥀 I can only imagine how toxic her relationship was with a broken Ra Ik. Ra Ik was born to a crazy, abusive woman and fell in love with one.😢
