Finished episode 4 and I'm going to drop it and I am so disappointed. The way this show was marketed, I would have never thought this would some cutesy romance series. The acting is good. I just don't like the character Gawin is playing. This aloof "young and innocent" university student. I was hoping we were done with that trope. Especially for seasoned actors like them. And that mouth thing Gawin does, I hate it! 😂 But seriously, this show isn't bad. You can clearly see the chemistry they have. But this just isn't turning out to be the show myself, and a lot of others anticipated. I see now that this just romance with supernatural elements. But they marketed this as this dark, thrilling story of vampires with romance elements.

That has absolutely nothing to do with what I asked😂

The truth is, after episode 2, this show is not going in the direction I had hoped. It's giving 2 Moons with a supernatural element. Rather than a supernatural horror/thriller. HOWEVER, Gawin deserves my viewership. So I'm going to continue to watch it. I don't dislike it, at all. Just not, so far, what I expected. I am here, solely, for Gawin, Mond, and Neo!!

Just finished this series. This is officially my favorite JoogDunk series. I have never been shy about saying how often I was disappointed in Dunk's acting, but this series is truly different. Style is quite literally, imo, Dunk's BEST character/role to date. At first I said this "Style" was maybe more closer to his actual personality and that's why his acting is so good. But I actually feel the opposite after finishing. I this "Style" is so far from who Dunk actually is that he truly had to "act" and this was the result. Style is Dunk's best performance and I love that for him. I am so happy I finished this series. I paused for a bit after episode 9, but this was absolutely worth it. A very age appropriate storyline. Great character portrayals from the cast. I loved it!


Now, my cons. JoongDunk need kissing lessons. FirstKhaotung need roles outside of their comfort zones. Khaotung is always sweet/crazy. I want more. They should have given Babe a better storyline. Their third "brother" just disappeared. They didn't really do anything else with him. I wish the fight scenes looked a bit more realistic. Also, I need some versatility from Joong. He's just always, the same.

All in all, I really appreciate and enjoyed this series. I want GMM to abandon the high school and college series and focus more on the adult themed stories like this.

I already felt the way you felt after the first couple episodes I saw. I dropped it and said I'd reconsider after it was over. You confirmed for me that it didn't change. lol

I stopped after episode 3 for these exact reasons. I said I'd revisit after it was over to see if anything changed. Based on your comment, it didn't. guess I won't finish this one. thanks

This isn't a novel. Liberties can be taken in a tv adaptation. It is weird to see an adult character acting like a child. It isn't a wild concept to understand

To me, the ending was a bit anticlimactic, but this episode was amazing nonetheless!

I have actually seen a lot of people say that about the character White. If Dunk continues to deliver on this series, I will give Summer Night one more try. I tend to mostly enjoy the non-bl shows from the typical Bl actors. They are usually good.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get through episode one of Summer Night. IMO, Phuwin and Dunk are the weakest actors on the GMM roster and it showed for me. That's why couldn't finish it. I was going into this series knowing I'd drop it, because of Dunk, and am pleasantly surprised. Can wait for more

I watched it on iqiyi. I do have a subscription though. maybe that's why?

Just finished episode 1. I am intrigued. I'm really curious as to how the romance will work out, considering the suspicions Thiu has. I'm interested to see how this plays out. This is giving me major Triage and Manner of Death vibes so I'm sat regardless

Ok, just finished episode two. I NEVER thought I'd ever say this, but DUNK is the star of the show! Idk if it's acting classes or this character is closer to his actual personality, but Dunk has NEVER given a performance like this before. WOW! I am truly in awe. Needless to say, I am SAT for this series. And I KNEW the moment Fidel closed that door, what was about to happen 😏

We deserved an adult-themed script for these four and I am so glad we got it. Nothing negative to say.

So, I dropped this series after the second episode. I came back to see if the comments would tell me if it was worth going back.

I dropped it initially because GMM was marketing this as a big murder thriller. But at the end of episode one it seemed like the theme was going to actually be a romance with some comedy. I watched episode two and saw that’s exactly what it would be. The trailers and stills made this look really promising, but the switch up appeared to be annoying. And judging by the comments, many felt the same way. I may watch this one day, and it might actually be good. But advertising this as one thing, but turning it into another isn’t very smart.

I never, ever, EVER, thought I'd say this but, Dunk was sooo good in episode 1! Literally, in my opinion, Dunk is probably the worst actor on GMM's roster. HOWEVER, idk what classes they got him into, but he delivered as Style. Impressed is an understatement!!

First and Khaotung are always great actors but I never realized how attractive First is. My god! Idk if it's the tattoos or what, but First looks GOOD!

Joong is... pretty 😂I usually don't expect too much, acting-wise from him. He only has one mode. Although, it works for this character.

I am excited for this series. And, to be completely honest, from the trailer, I knew I'd hate it. Can't wait for next episode.
