Can someone suggest more dramas like this? I already watched Will Love in Spring after this and loved that one too. I want to watch something where the leads have amazing chemistry and it doesn’t have hundreds of episodes
Actually much better than recent short dramas. I thought, for the first time ever, the FL actually knew what she was doing, taking revenge and making others suffer. But yeah, they just had to make her irritating at least once. We got some spicy scenes out of it, so it’s okay. DGZ still needs to go back to his previous hairstyle though
One thing I found really disappointing was when the FL comforted the ML’s ex girlfriend while she was narrating their story. Even before the main incident, the ML was so fed up with her harassment that he had to involve her brother. Then she guilt tripped him into dating her. She even said, “He stayed to protect me and take care of me and did whatever I told him" That basically implied she compelled him to sleep with her and it went on for seven whole years. Now imagine if the genders were reversed. If a man guilt trapped the FL into sleeping with him for seven years. It would sound absolutely horrible. And on top of that, she cheated on him later. Yet the FL was not only okay with it but even comforted her
I finished all 21 episodes in one sitting. Can’t believe I was sleeping on this. I saw some people complaining about the FL and I was worried I’d hate her since I disliked one FL in a recent popular cdrama but I’m glad I didn’t here.
I actually found both leads pretty similar. It was refreshing that it wasn’t just one person simping while the other showing idgaf attitude, both of them put in effort. I was especially glad the ML didn’t apologize when he wasn’t in the wrong. Lately, so many dramas show that just to make him look like a "green flag" but being a green flag doesn’t mean he can’t have real, human emotions. He was a loser in love in the best way, not a pathetic simp. Idk what to watch after this
Finally watched a good drama after almost three months and I loved the ending. It was loud yet cozy.I thought I was falling for reels again but that wasn’t the case. I was also trying to find a jiejie romance. Honestly, I was worried at first since the leads got together a little too early for a 26 episode drama but the misunderstanding episodes kept me hooked even though I usually hate those. And it’s not like they could "break up" that time lol. Another thing I liked was female lead always went to help her friend, even when she was in a tough situation herself. Usually in dramas, it’s only the supporting characters who come to help the main ones.Even though I couldn’t care less about the investigation part since it was predictable and boring, I’m glad it didn’t take up much screen time. I wish the second couple had more scenes too. Usually, I skip second couple scenes in Cdramas but I loved them too this time
Five episodes in and I’m really liking it so far. I thought I had grown out of dramas but I guess I just needed the right one. Also here I’m witnessing something rare in Asian dramas, that's sexual tension
Wanted to watch something with dreamy, brown-toned cinematography and I’m glad I found that along with an interesting trope. It was a good watch. But in Japanese movies, the women scream at such a high pitch that it makes my ears bleed
If I had known this had a village theme, I would've started it sooner. I'm also liking the fact that they're showing the second couple from the start 'cause nowadays second couples just pop up out of nowhere near the end
