Here we go again with people complaining about the childhood trope. I've not even watched it yet but the constant whining about it is way more annoying than the trope itself
I found it incredibly dull. Love and Loyalty executed a similar storyline far better, featuring the same female lead. I genuinely disliked her character throughout the entire drama, even though things were cleared up at the end,it felt too late. I ended up watching it more out of frustration than enjoyment. Typically dramas of this kind try to mask their narrative flaws with excessive spicy scenes but this one didn’t even have that. So the audience couldn’t be distracted from the poor storytelling and editing
I feel the same way about this drama as I did about Happiness. I absolutely loved the main couple and mainly watched it for them. The overall story felt pretty common but I’m still rating it good because, for me, the leads were the plot
I recommend Gu family book that Amndadwi suggested. It’s another fantasy sageuk drama.
I want to watch more Suzy dramas as well. This was my first one and let’s just say I have different preferences from her usual scripts. But she was soo good in this. I definitely want to try more of her dramas
I began watching with high expectations after enjoying the actor’s previous time loop drama but this one failed to keep me engaged even for three episodes :(
Suzy is so pretty. Both her face and physique leave me in awe. So glad she doesn’t have bangs in this. Sometimes she looks totally like Jung Somin. I see some people criticizing her acting but I think it’s just the character. She’s not normal in this, so obviously she behaves this way
Ngl I was offended but still kept watching because they don’t call him by the name Iblis, they call him genie. But what? A bromance between Iblis and Azra'il (AS). I’m just laughing at the absurdity now
I watched the first few episodes and while the drama itself isn’t very captivating or new, the leads do have great chemistry, something that’s been missing in most kdrama couples lately. Hopefully, they can maintain it until the end
People complain too much about ratings and reviews. If the drama turns out good, both will rise in two days max,no bots can stop that. These days, almost every kdrama rating starts with 7 anyway
