I’ve tried watching other cdramas but haven’t found a male lead or chemistry like this one and I don’t even like toxic stories. Xie Wei isn't even a red flag to me lol. I don’t mind the limited screentime together. Totally bewitched

I really appreciate writers who create a second couple instead of adding second leads with their nonsense unrequited love in romcoms

But when did he exist in the new timeline? Didn’t he disappear when he was sitting beside his mother’s grave?

But didn’t she find out about his death in 1995? It seems too soon for her to have moved on. Having a child in 1999 feels like she moved on the very next day after learning about his death.

Regardless, we all saw that she hadn’t truly moved on even in 2026, as she was planning to stay beside his grave after dying. So the whole thing about her having a son feels a bit off to me.

How is it pointless when the comment section exists precisely to discuss dramas? If we stop giving constructive criticism, Kdramas will just keep getting more underwhelming like they were this year. Let’s be real,making characters the same age when it’s clearly not believable is even more ridiculous

People take it as an attack when we point out age gaps. The real issue is how they end up looking onscreen, not the age gap itself. It’s not like we’re stopping older actors from doing romcoms.They just need to be paired with someone who suits them, not someone who makes them look like an uncle or niece

Now some people will bring up “real-life couples with age gaps exist” blah blah. But this isn’t real life. We don’t watch romcoms for life lessons. We watch them for fun and giggles and a couple we can actually root for

Fake marriage is a classic trope and I don’t think they should ever stop using it. That said, I agree we can’t really enjoy it if the couple isn’t fun to watch. After all, it’s the actors who elevate even the most common tropes

Romance in soul switching dramas always ends up feeling cringe. I just hope the comedy is good
