Surprisingly I liked it a lot. Ig it’s because it stayed true to its genre. The female lead starting to fold next day after the marriage showed she might’ve accepted him if his approach had been different from the beginning but then the drama wouldn’t exist. But there should’ve been more scenes between them after marriage
I’ve been trying to find similar vertical dramas. Anyone have other dramas like this to suggest?
They’re taking this love triangle too far. I saw the precap, why is sml getting all the classic Kdrama moments with the female lead? I’ve never disliked a supposedly positive character this much
i have watched 4 episodes of this and it just keeps pissing me off i have to drop it😭 first reason is the ai…
Calling everything misogyny weakens the meaning of the word. The male and female leads are obviously treated differently in the script and their circumstances are different as well. The female lead grew up with a loving sister, while the male lead was abandoned by his brother. He isn’t even Woojoo’s legal guardian, so he has neither a legal nor a moral obligation to take care of him, yet he still tries his best to get through that one month with him. If the roles were reversed and the male lead were looking at the SFL with heart eyes while still getting butterflies around the female lead, many viewers would have dropped the drama and labeled him a red flag
With how romcom K dramas have been lately, I realized making a genuinely fun one isn’t that easy. It’s been so long since I enjoyed one from start to finish. Finally a good romcom
As much as I’m loving the drama, they really should’ve cut down the second male lead’s screen time. I get that he’s part of the plot and I’m not a fan of love triangles to begin with but his scenes with the female lead clearly aren’t going anywhere and will have no outcome. They could’ve shown less of them together
I can’t deal with a dark romance where the male lead is lowkey two timing.Maybe if his character didn’t have this trait, I could’ve looked past his other toxic behavior. He wants to marry another woman and keep the female lead as his mistress and he doesn’t see anything wrong with it. He’s seriously getting on my nerves. Idk much about bipolar disorder but he’s shitty all the time. The female lead wasn’t even with him because she loved him, which serves him right lmao. The fact that he was shocked by that? Did he really think someone would fall for his shitty personality? But the one who irritated me the most in such a short time is Bai Yan. I’m not continuing the drama, so Idk if he has a bigger role later but who is he to follow her to her hometown? The male lead is a jerk but at least they were in a relationship, so it made some sense. Bai Yan, though? Just pathetic and such a simp.
The only character I disliked was Sejin but she seems to have done a complete 180. Their date scene was really cute. Now her brother has taken the hate throne...straight up making accusations like they’re facts
When even a short drama becomes hard to finish, you know the plot is bad. It’s all over the place. The first half confused me, with the random back and forth between the past and present.
The flashback scenes are worth watching but the current ones are kind of boring. The drama isn’t bad but I’ve seen better. It’s just not something I’d watch for 30 episodes
Just caught up with all the episodes and this drama is actually really good. I enjoyed a drama after a long time. Idk if it’s because I binged it but it genuinely felt refreshing and funny. But yea the kissing scenes were bad as usual in Kdramas. The rating here is too low
After a long time, I’m actually looking forward to the new episodes. I liked the first episode overall, except for the intro, it made the drama look cheap.
I liked this week’s episodes. They were really fun. The eight tailed fox is so cute
People complaining about the chemistry but isn’t that the case with most Kdrama romcoms nowadays? There’s barely any tension between the leads, so they naturally feel platonic. At least the comedy is serving and even though they don’t have god level chemistry, they’re not bad
I’ve watched more than half of the drama but I still don’t see any romantic chemistry between them. Like I don’t find myself rooting for their confession or first kiss, it feels very platonic. His ex, even though she’s irritating, still had more chemistry with him.
Ngl the last track was boring. It took me a while to finish it. I didn’t feel bad for Ahjin’s victims because most of them had it coming. The simps ignored all the red flags just because of her pretty face. I wasn’t rooting for Ahjin either. She lost me with that whole storyline involving her boss
One thing I really liked about the drama is how Hu Xiu always shut down sml. She never even unintentionally led him on. She was quick to shut him up every time. In most dramas, only male leads do this, while female leads try to stay friendly with the SML even when they know he likes them. Even when her kiss was dodged, she didn’t try to make Zhi Yu jealous using Pei zhen
I’m fine with gore but not this. There was no warning or tag, I wouldn’t have watched it. I was anxious the entire time, afraid it might happen.Otherwise, the screenplay was good and engaging
As someone who usually despises gaming themed dramas, I couldn’t resist watching this because of those tempting reels. Surprisingly, the gaming scenes here aren’t cringe or filler at all. I actually found myself enjoying them
