🤣🤣🤣 It's also understandable you felt that way, cuz it was unique but also distracting. Those shiny, dangling things were dancing disco whenever he moves.. 🪩✨💃🏻

Can someone tell ig if it is worth it to watch this??
[Whispers of Fate] is one of a kind. ^^ It follows the journey of our main protagonist, Tang Li Ci, as he goes through various trials, gains new connections and finally understands the seven emotions (as per Buddhist contexts). The drama serves breathtaking visuals (such as costumes and CGI), beautiful OSTs, and thought-provoking conversations between characters. These intrinsic qualities will hook you as you watch on, and I definitely encourage you to give this a try~ ^^

"Even the small side characters also get fairly elaborate costumes" Absolutely! Everyone shines in their own unique way~ ^^ I also love Hong Gu's outfits. Miss Hong with her arched harp is always pleasing to watch~🐱

Apart from A-Li's costumes, there's one of A-Yan's costumes that still can't get out of my mind. (https://dramatea88.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/whispers.gif) And somehow his headgear gives me Arabian vibes (*Will Smith's Arabian Nights song playing in the background*). X3 Just a personal thought.. I'm curious about the actual inspiration behind the whole concept of this costume.

Thanks for sharing this interesting info~ I also love both TTOETM and SLY. I can still remember myself crying buckets watching Tan Tai Jin's ending in TTEOTM.. 🥹 Luo Yun Xi's characters sacrificed themselves for the greater good in both endings. However, we can still differentiate the meanings behind each character's decisions. SLY is like a huge colourful textbook. I'm thrilled to learn from the underlying messages they give us, in addition to stunning visuals and music~ And totally agree with the cultural aspects they've infused! Hooray to the SLY team! 🎉
