Not gonna lie as someone that really enjoyed the previous episodes this week's 2 new eps fell really flat ESPECIALLY ep 10. (Where NOTHING happened) They're just going around in circles with no new discoveries and piling high on misunderstandings and lack of communication to stir up drama. But... real talk, why is something that occurred at the end of Ep 8 still the ongoing conflict between these two??! Yes it was probably upsetting for the FL, but in a standard 16 episode drama ESPECIALLY one with an ongoing mystery serial killer on the prowl it doesn't deserve 2-3 eps of focus... 😕
However, since my comment is 99% complaining I'll add that Investigator Ju is a 10/10 in my books as the lovable sidekick/comedic relief. His kooky expressions have me howling! xD
Boys over Flowers is where it all started for me. I was looking for a show similar to Gossip Girl and whatever article 2011-2012 me found recommended BoF. And here we are more than 10 years later! xD
The hype is real, best thriller KDrama by miles and miles!!!
Seriously, if you haven't already watched this masterpiece run don't walk to turn on the first ep! Also, watch Mouse: The Predator right after finishing because it's a necessary POV that brings a even DEEPER edge to this hair-raising story!
Seriously... if you're hesitating as for whether or not to start this show GO! The hype is real. The is an amazingly hilarious rom-com! If I could give it a 20/10 I would. <3
I'm liking it. It's a slow burn (which is understandable given the characters), but there are small sweet moments…
You're not missing out, lmao. xP
Fair enough, but at least it was enjoyable enough where you didn't veto the drama before it even began. Poor editing for a big $$$ drama has no excuses.
Yeahhh it explains my hesitation in jumping in with this show. ESPECIALLY since I'm already kinda biased against it at this point, lol.

It's precisely your last sentence that's really hindering with whether or not I'd enjoy this show because I'm one of those that's come into it with a years worth of build-up and anticipation. (Not kidding when I say FSM: RMP was in my top 5 upcoming from ALL of China) Also, with THAT budget there really isn't an excuse for subpar editing...
Having said that, I do get why you're enjoying it flaws and all. The background knowledge you have about the manhua being helpful I'm sure. It doesn't matter how shoddy the final product is, if I come into a show/movie as a fan of the original work (ex: book, webtoon, etc), I usually do give the adaptation the benefit of the doubt unless it lets me down, *coughs* Marry my Husband *coughs*. xD
Don't worry....you'll be revisiting ep 15 and 16 alot (at least that was the case for me)
I've seen some clips from "Atypical Family", but I've learned my lesson from past mistakes and am waiting for the ending before deciding whether to jump in or avoid, lol.
As for time travel OR the whole star-crossed lovers/reuniting I'm a fan of both tbh. As long as it's worth watching, I'm down. :) I mainly watch KDramas with the *occasional* Chinese or Taiwanese.

BWAHAHAHA I'm dead!!! xDDD

If you manage to come across a show that gives you the same kinda feels that this lovely drama did, let a girl know! ;)
