The drama is quite stretched out with multiple mini stories inside. Not all of them are compelling with arguably better ones in the first half.
Big factor is second couple, they have lots of screen time. If you can enjoy them, you'll enjoy drama much more.

I agree. But some dialogues were really hard to understand. 'Little pull' and 'Horse factory' for names is hilarious. It is almost machine translation level.

Subs quality is very poor though.

Watching Yun Hai's dumb wife, I was sure Si Shen would end up being Yun Hui's true love. But from what I've seen so far (haven't finished yet but sneek picked last episode), they might stay teacher/student, friends or something like that.

Did anyone read an original novel? I am dying to find out about Liang Si Shen.

I don't have issue with Xiao Xia's character and she is very good as FL's friend. But her love story is hard for me to watch.

I am torn on this drama. No long stupid misunderstandings is a massive plus. Some interesting stories and great leads chemistry. Loved Dr Shao character!
On the other hand there are some annoying (sisters!) and unbelievable stories. Was fast forwarding second leads.

I thought of Descendant of the Sun while watching it. Not exactly the same vibes though.

It is a pinnacle of Esport/gaming dramas! I am afraid it can't get better than this. Fantastic plot, well developed and relatable characters, great acting, absolutely hilarious moments and very creative camera work for in game scenes.

Cross Fire is what The King's Avatar should have been! I loved the novel but drama was complete disappointment.
Cross Fire reminded me of Gank Your Heart several times though the level is complete different.
Go go squid had interesting moments but didn't touch me much. High profile cast but plot is quite silly.
Love O2O is a classic. Watched it long time time ago and loved it, might not be as relevant now.

I absolutely loved the change of pace in this drama. Moments of absolutely hilarious comedy in between very well written drama.

I have soft spot for eSports/gaming dramas and enjoyed many of them but this one is on whole another level! Unbelievable quality in all areas.

I like Li Qin from Princess Agents and Joy of Life but these dramas are on another level. Many people still enjoyed this drama though.

Not worth in my opinion, I dropped it half way.
Whole series is holding on one thing - strong FL. Beginning is quite entertaining but lots of annoying characters and garbage plot will make you hate it very soon.
If you seen any quality court dramas, it is hard to watch this nonsense.

Loved it, nothing really special but all main couples are quite enjoyable.
I was wondering wth is with FL's hair, I see I am not the only one complaing. Actress profile photo looks great though.

It started high but rating's been dropping continuously since then. Drama seems to be going downhill as well so I expect rating will be in low 8s soon.

You can watch first third of it - many agree it is the best part.
