I often complain about pacing in c-dramas but I found this pace does not bother me and I like that they develop characters gradually. This and shorter number of episodes might prevent typical for c-dramas dragging in the middle.
For me this drama started with a bang but novelty of smart FL is wearing out as I continue watching. At the same time script quality is annoying more and more. Haven't rated it yet but my future score is slowly dropping.

Update: after completing it I am pleasantly surprised. Second half is very strong. Some annoying single dimensional characters made early exit and remaining characters had good development and motivation. Story has a depth to it. Pity about second season but I still enjoyed it.

I dropped both Blossom in heart and Sword dynasty.
Story is full of cliches and holes but still entertaining.
