I've already forgotten the majority of the shows I've watched this year. Not for any one particular resaons, but just in general, they weren't too memorable.

The only two I remember are "Only for Love", where the FL does actually own up to her actions and the couple properly makes up. The other is "Hidden Love" which was just so sweet and healing and one of my all time favorites- both leads were pure sugar and none of them did anything to hurt the other.

Anyway, fingers crossed that we get to see some character growth in this show.
Despite everything, the novel has a a special place in my heart so I'm still sincerely hoping that they revert to that story and at least let me see parts of it on the tv screen.

I can see at least one breakup or at minimum a massive blowup coming our way.
The FL is wishy-washy, their relationship is unstable, and the ML hasn't been firm enough in setting boundries for how far she can push him. With the way things are going, I'm not too optomisitic.

OTOH, I see people talking about a massive shift in the ep 12 preview? I haven't seen it, but it appears he might confess to her or something. If that happens, then maybe the FL will settle, which would make a breakup less likely.

LMAO this is hysterical. I needed the comedic relief after sufftering through today's episodes. I commented earlier that based on the comments I've seen thus far, the average age of viewers here appears to be 12 yo. I got a counterargument for 15 yo. Based on "rii" I think I'm closer to the mark. 🤣

If I could figure out how to post gifs I'd post one of me banging my head against a wall or yeeting myself out the window in sheer frustration.

OMG female empowement just gave me a bad flashback to "Doctor Cha", a korean drama. That was the absolute worst.

I love a strong FL but why they decided that "strong" means "alone" or "illogical" is beyond me. They absolutely have no idea how to portray a true strong woman imo.

I've seen ML's retaliate by trying to make the FL jealous but never to the extent of going out with someone else, and also they've always been young, like highschool or university romances. You're correct that the FL interacting with another man (for whatever reason) is much more common.

Personally, I hate it. Some of these tropes are enough to do your head in.

What is really driving me nuts in this case is that they are all adults. While I still don't like (or condone) this behavior in teenage romances it at least is excused due to age and lack of life experiece. In an adult? This has no place whatsoever and should be strongly condemned. I am so mad at the writers. Their entire relationship is a mess.

The ML sees the FL on a business dinner with a perceived rival. Without asking any questions he then proceeds to attend a blind date with a different woman in full sight of the FL.
If you don't agree that the entire comment section would be screaming "toxic"at this point then you're in denial.

As a woman, I detest seeing my own kind depicted as immature, driven by emotion, nonsensical. She is 27 years old! She committed to a long-term marriage-like relationship. Yet she does not communicate, constantly plays one -upsmanship, and consistently "retaliates" whenever she decides that he hurt her or did something wrong. This is peak toxic behavior and there is nothing wrong with calling it like it is.
