I loved LDQ in "Only for Love". Thought I was seeing things when his face came up here. Talk about a genre switch!!

The switch also made me curious, since OFL is from China. Does standard Mandarin have the same dialect in Mainland China and Taiwan? Or did he need to change that up?

Yeah, I saw in the synapsis that this show is based on a different novel.
But reading the details made me blink twice. Stepbrothers, rivlary, parents dating...LOL. Details create a story, though, so this might be completely different despite sharing the setting or broad strokes of Addicted.

It probably didn't leave a lasting impression on her.
She does remember him-recall that she greeted him and knew who he was when they met again in episode one. But it's been years since highschool. Those short interactions meant a lot to JYH bc he was going through a lot emotionally. As for TXN, she was just being nice to a classmate for a few minutes. Nothing earthshattering to her. So those memories faded with time.
