yes but engineers have different fields they work in. for example, a car engineer versus a software engineer...even in software itself there are different languages and subspecialties, etc.
3d printing, and within that field medical equipment printing, is a field. ai is a different field. i see these as two totally separate fields.

just a random question, bc i don't really know this field irl but... 3d printing and ai are not the same thing? how did jx go from an ai engineer to a 3d products manufacturer? they seem like completely different fields of industry, or at least completely different specialities.

it might have given her a push. but they've had "moments" before. and she's recently realized that he's being very nice to her: with the food, and giving her time to come to the conclusion about what to specialize in. she's attracted to him but wouldn't have had the courage to do anything about it without these recent realizations. it being her birthday, finding out her ex moved on, and finding out it was with her friend,,,and him being there to take care of her and end her bday on a high note, plus she did drink a bit....probably gave her the final push.
