Reserved for a couple, or maybe only if the person being addressed is younger than the speaker. True. Slow burn. But definitely not boring. The build up is very nice. We get to see the FL as a teenager with a crush. We get to see the ML being an awesome "older brother" figure who gradually falls for her in return. Definitely sweet (even beautiful) to see.

Really? Hmmm... The impression I got was that she was gobsmacked from the moment she met him (by his looks), a feeling which was helped along nicely by how nice he was to her. So she caught feelings at 14. But she only "realized" her feelings (or developed them more fully) at 17. I was going to rewatch the show from the start soon anyway, but this question is just giving me incentive to start asap and pay extra attention to those early scenes :))
