Hi all! Question: Towards the end of ep 25 during the voice-over, the FL says "Our story began when he was 22", which would mean when she was 17 yo--the second time we see them meet on-screen. But! At that point in the story, she was the one who worked to make that meeting happen because she wanted to see him again. And during flashbacks we do see that she had an immediate crush on him (back when she was only 14). So, does anyone understand why she starts the count of their story at 17?
Ok so this is the Addicted BL series from China but they change the name and also turn it into a bromance with…
Agree. Give it to Taiwan or a different country that can do justice to the story. I wonder who holds the copyright, if the author is making these decisions. I'm so upset.
The main cast is very good and the story is decent but what makes this drama not have a good rating (only 7.3)…
Disagree. My gripe is with the story and the characters, not the actors. All the actors are great, the FL is very pretty. But the scenarios and characters themselves were ludicrous.
I'm currently watching Gangnam Beauty and now I understand where all those people saying he can't act come from.…
He was actually acting on Gangnam Beauty. The role is a very "cold" and reserved boy, which he played in spades. Very little emotions cross his face, you can only see it in his eyes. He did that intentionally and I imagine it was pretty difficult too since that persona is not his similar to his actual personality (based off interviews and Astro clips I've seen). So kudos to him, he did a great job delivering the role as it was indented.
Does anyone know what ever happened with "The villainess is a marionette'? I saw a news article about a trailer but nothing else. And it's not listed on this page. ?
No he not, you don’t understand why he doing it and that’s why Master Kim picks him for a reason. Also stop…
(My two cents) It's too soon for Dr Kim to be disappointed. New leadership or change always takes time to fine-tune. Dr Kim might wish things were easier from the start but he's realistic and is choosing to trust his student. Also, the others are behaving like children. When a senior doctor, who's been a doctor longer, and specifically comes from a successful trauma center background, and on top of that he's been chosen by your 'idol' to lead you...then the only thing that makes logical sense is to take a step back and listen. Ask questions if you have them but be receptive to the answers and to trying new methods even if they're different or not your first instinct. None of them asked or tried to understand, they just lashed out like emotional kids.
I cried and I mean CRIED this whole episode. When she was praying in the courtroom. It broke me. This was such…
His son does call him "appa" (while the daughter gripes about not accepting that because she's in love with him lol). They might choose to tell the kids when they're older that he's their biological father. For now though, this might be kinder since the kids would have to deal with the fact that Dad left Mom , and they all suffered due to Dad's choices. In order to fully understand the choices both their parents made, imo they'd have to be much older. For now it's okay to be "step-dad" while secure in the knowledge that he loves them and Mom.
I wanted it to be publicly known as well, with Dr Cha's mum blirting it out at the hospital, i was waiting and…
My interpertation was that he just ended up being on good terms with both of them. Both of them had moved on from him, while he only had lingering feelings left for Dr Cha and regretted losing her. From his pov we don't really see his regret at losing the other woman.
I think at some point it was mentioned that the original gf was out of the country, they were on a break. Dr Cha…
I hear your pov but i disagree. when we meet the sfl she's a professor, a noted doctor, and her daughter is in private school + hogwon. she's financially 'comfortable 'at the least. if she did struggle in the US to reach this point after being disowned , then her resentment of the ml should be very strong. once upon a time she was kind. we no longer see that. today she is strong and a devoted mother. those are her two dominent traits. but a strong woman nor a good mother would hang on to a man who has no intention of leaving his wife especailly as it's to the detriment of the dauther she loves.

Imo the cause is too small for such a great effect. The one redeeming quality of the other woman (the original college gf) throughout the series was arguably how much she loved her daugher to the point she chose to be kicked out of her family and lose all emotional and financial support rather than give up her child. But that being the case, she should have crated a stable home environment for said child. When we meet the second daughter, she has obviously been hurt and neglected for many years. Any good mother, heck, any sane woman, especailly an acomplished doctor, would do better. If the other woman would have moved on from what was college romance with a cheater (what was so great about it or him that she's hung on for so many years??) then the entire story wouldn've been different.
So whats the ending?should I watch this?(place a spoiler tag for the response)
The ending was a letdown. There was a buildup from the begining to the middle of show, leading us to expect things to be resolved in a certain way, but towards the end the writers did a 180 and our expectations were massively let down. I'll spoil this by saying the "bad ppl" mostly get away with being bad, not having suffered any major consequences. And the female lead who has suffered a lot has a....somewhat...happy ending, with a big caveat.
Everything will be fine only if cha doesn't slept with inho even after knowing he has girlfriend.Everything happened…
I think at some point it was mentioned that the original gf was out of the country, they were on a break. Dr Cha might not have known they were still together. Either way, in the end, all they had was a one night stand while she was lost and recovering from illness. The events that followed being "Karma" is too much for something so relatively benign.
