Manually adding the sub file should work the same way on your phone! Google also says if you move the file and video (named the same) to the vlc folder in your iphone files it'll all play together automatically. I guess the real concern is if you have space on your phone for the raw ep

you have save the sub file + the raw ep, then open the ep in vlc media player, right click on the screen and go down to the "Subtitle" option and click "Add Subtitle File" and select the subs. OR, if you make it so the sub file and the ep file are named the exact same thing, it will automatically play with the subs and you don't have to bother with any of what I just said. Once you get used to it it's pretty straight forward, but feel free to ask if you have any problems ^^

I feel like Goto Gin would not have let Ai live to become head despite it being her birthright. She wanted Keisuke as the next head and did not hide her feeling that Ai should just kill herself. Ai wasn't even given a position to stand with the head family despite her being the supposed heir, she was in the crowd. If she didn't flee something else would've happened later i'm sure...

-Keisuke sees other people as human, for sure. But he also has yet to really go against his family unless it involves his family (like with his mom). We'll see what choice he makes later...
-I don't think Daigo was just an ordinary cop before going to the village. He was sent there/it was suggested he go by his superiors because of the incident with the pedo and made "village cop"
-I hope the answer to Goto Gin's death is revealed in the next part... I mean we know she wasn't well, so it's possible she was sent out to die maybe? Like maybe they thought she'd evolve like That Man but didn't and was killed by him. Idk but considering the bite marks I doubt a bear was the real culprit. Her corpse was definitely eaten as part of the funeral rites later tho.
-That Man is soooo creepy he seems so animalistic but also... smart enough to not eat Mashiro for some reason. and knows not to eat the Gotos are the ceremony either (is it because they hide their faces?) I wonder if Mashiro's moment of bonding with That Man will save her life later considering the situation she's in now. but again he's so animalistic maybe it won't matter to him ahh...
-The Gotos don't seem to practice endogamy it's mentioned that the mayor of the town is a Goto because he was adopted into the family after marrying a daughter of the family. So fresh blood but adopted in so everyone is still a Goto on the family registry.
-The villagers must know in part what's going on considering they let Goto Gin take their babies and declare them stillborn and then the children are never seen again. Idk why they are covering for them tho because if they reveal the truth the cops will take them all away and they'll be free from the Gotos... meaning they must have done something too right? or the Gotos will implicate them in some way... hm. Seems like they're stuck in some mutually assured destruction scenario (or they're just horrible people and just won't say anything)

Betting Mashiro was taken away to play by that child at the suggestion of the adults to show Daigo just how easy it is to make her disappear. He was right to get them out of the village (took them long enough).

Small town mentality people like this are so annoying to me. They're so hostile and controlling and then wonder why Daigo isn't falling into line. Just a bunch of nosey bullies who would listen to them? If you're not from the village (and therefore conditioned to) why would you be inclined to? And then they actually assault him?? A COP?? and expect that to go well. Then later are all like ~why are you so hostile and suspicious~ bitch because you're being hostile and creepy constantly. Like what did they expect.

i'm really enjoying this drama so far! i got really into watching everyone prepare/enact the mock trial, and i really love the clash of teaching ideologies between Yuki and Keiko's characters. I can't wait to see more!
