I really don't get these comical trailers we are getting for some sageuk like this one when the stories don't…
I agree. I have complained about this several times. I have almost missed out on some really good dramas because the promotional materials make it look like it's a silly, teen romcom when in reality, it is a valuable drama. Why do the advertisers do this? Are they trying to appeal to/trick a certain demographic into watching?
This film was intense, gory and deeply emotional. The plot wasn't intricate, but it had such impact. When he was being so brutally murdered and he found out that it was his own leader who had killed his sister and niece. my heart bled for him. At this point, I thought the film was over and I was going to write that it was too short. Then, she shows up at that diner and avenges the deaths of all those for whom she cared and his family, too. This was pure poetic justice. There is just thing I would have liked to see done differently. She should have made that white-haired worm suffer more, shoot some vital places one by one before killing him.
I've generally found the MDL scores of dramas a reasonable indication of the quality of each drama. But the score…
I usually ignore the ratings for dramas in which affairs are involved, because some people base their ratings solely on their own moral values and not on the quality of the drama. Going to start watching this tonight.
I just realized the same director is directing Connection with Ji Sung, I too have skipped this numerous times…
I have been saying this all along. So many dramas I might have skipped because the title didn't reflect the story. The first one that comes to mind is Come and Hug Me. I mean, wuh?
I felt this series was excellent. The game had similarities to Squid Game, but in 8, the participants were given parameters and then left to their own devices. It portrayed a microcosm of society as a whole, where class structure and financial wellbeing often dictates the course of people's lives. All was covered, from humanity to cruelty and ruthlessness. I enjoyed this kdrama very much.
I would love to get an age range of viewers who enjoyed this verse those who didn't. Cause I really enjoyed the…
I am 64 and I feel that this is a thoughtful plot and should be rated higher. The advertisers of these dramas do them an injustice when they try to paint the story as something it is not, just to get viewership. You end up with simpletons, like one poster here, who condemn the drama based upon their interpretation of the synopsis when they have not even watched it.
I was confused about the airport scene. Why did she have a wedding ring on? I thought that maybe she had married the CEO in return for him paying for Shin Ji's suegery.
Just discovered this beautiful edit on 'Lost': https://youtu.be/TaNSIq3ifdAIt is soooo good💔
Wow, this is a beautiful compilation. Each glance carries such depth of emotion. For me, who can't stop thinking about this series. this transported me back and allowed me to feel all those deep emotions all over again. Beautiful.
