I was honestly disgusted when both him and Xiao Yao offered XL money to remove the bug. I wonder how moneyless life do them.

Yeah, I read the leaked script the night before and compare it to his acting in the screen, he nailed it to the T. At the lake break up scene, when he went from a cold expression to breaking down after XY fainted. That scene execution is just perfect.

You can watch him in Twisted Fate of Love tho, again he loses the girl. Haha

I consider the drama as a revision of the novel. So XL wearing red robe is enough to conclude that the fate she is waiting is XL and her feeling her heart in pain without the bug is enough to conclude that whatever feeling she had for XL is real. Its also the same with the Tushan fighting scene, Jing is gonna lose anyways but its his perseverance pulled him out from the seabed.

Having all the great scenes is great but it cost money. So, my guess is Tong Hua emphasizes / clarifies what she wanted the viewers to know. Mixing both + adding own interpretation is what made this comment section messy.

Honestly, the producers changed the 7 days waiting at the beach scene from a dramatic "XL saving XY till his white robe turned red with his blood" to him "only wearing a red robe" is enough to generate so many hate and favoritism allegations. Imagine the backlash if they show how bad XY's reaction to XL's death compared to TSJ's death.

Technically, FFYY did exactly what XY did when TSJ died. She was left days before her wedding day and begged grandma Tushan to accept her as a Tushan Family member, so she did. FFYY even helped ran the Tushan household by the time they found TSJ, 10 years later.

So, if you guys think that XY and TSJ is married when XY solo marries TSJ, same concept is applied. XY is a mistress by that period's standard. Or is it only applies when it is advantageous to your ship?

Just rip it off like band-aid. I watched it 3 days in a row. I didn't cry today, finally. It was good though. I watched the XL's scene in a row from the break-up scene to the final battle scene. It just makes sense why he did what he did.

In S1, she already rejected him, lets start from this point. Then, in S2 Xiang Liu really tried to know how she felt about him when he kept asking who she really want to see, who she really liked etc, to the point of using mind magic and it didn't end well for her. So he just gave up and accept that she is willing to marry Ye Shiqi thus, he will make sure that it happens. When TSJ died and his pain is triggered, it strengthen his conviction that the one Xiao Yao likes is TSJ.

For Xiao Yao, love is companionship and she needs a lot of affirmation which Xiang Liu is not good at. When she ask about leaving the Chenrong Army, she didn't give him a reason to do so. Xiang Liu even asks at the beach "why should I roam the great seas and land" which means "why are you asking me to run away?" and her answer is "you may think I am an object of trade but I always regard you as a friend" <- we know she means that she cares about him and doesn't want him to die, but if you have been in a situationship before, you'd take this as being friendzoned. Later then he felt XY and TSJ smooching. At this point, confessing would be confusing for XY and unfair for TSJ.

That is why people, love yourself first before finding a person to love you. You might lose out on a great love story if you depend on a person to affirm your worth.

For perspective, at that point of the war, he has been fighting for 6 days straight. The Chenrong Army has been decimated and he is literally the last men standing. Killing him is a decent end as he refused to surrender.

Give chubby a human form. That'll be fun to watch.

My guess its because she never really felt Xiang Liu leaving her permanently. She is confident that he'll be around since he had 9 lives to spare, and when she need him, he is always around.

There is a reason why despite her parents questionable decisions, their drama is called A Lifetime of Love and Xiao Yao’s drama is called Lost You Forever.

the scene is exactly how I imagined when I read the leaked script. I also lowkey hope XL kimSooHyun-ly ugly cry in that scene anddd I am not disappointed
