I saw trailer and now I am wondering how exactly is that connected with it? The only common point seems to be "taming" of Faded by Style...

They (JoJo) don't look (act) so bad in the trailer, so they shouldn't lower the quality 🙏.
When I saw their mix I thought that perhaps they want JoJo to learn something from FirstKhao. Perhaps they might get a good director who is going to "level them up"? 🤞
(I can't wait for MDL page for this series, so I can bookmark it and be certain that I won't miss it 🥰).

Considering how popular and liked both are, I would say that you are in minority in this opinion.
If you mean behind the scenes, then yeah - they need to do much, much better.

I am hoping it's going to be good (considering it's BoC at least the visuals - apart from actors - should be really nice and not cheap). I 🤞 that they are going to help Samon with the characters itself (in her novels it's usually cold/aloof x crazy in love in him) - like Bun was much more human in the series.

Of the year? Judging by the score it has it might be the worst of all times (I checked and acrazy Handsome Rich have over 5 and it was massively criticised and only had 6 EPs, so this one might get even lower by the end... or theoretically, by some miracle - higher).

IMO if he caves to mom's wishes once she would keep pressuring him (well both of them, I am sure, but Miyata - surprisingly for this type of drama - seems to have a spine), so that little by little she can gain ground and reach her ultimate goal (word dominanion? 😋).

Yes! I was thinking the same (both for family and Sugimoto). I even thought he might have feelings for Takashi and purposely torpedoed their relationship.

Side note: this way of taking over the family seems 🦇 💩 crazy IMO. Takashi was over 10 years away from the family, so he would have to learn the ropes (it seems misogynistic to me as well that it was assumed that it's not going to be the daughter who is going to take over but her husband - what qualifications/experience does he have?! 🤯). Is his degree in any ways connected with family business? They knew he was to elope with a boy and are probably aware that he wasn't dating any woman since then, so they would be just fine without forcing him to have children (so that they can take over afterwards)? Doubtful.
From the preview it looks like he is going to turn them down, so let's hope for happy ending (and some just desserts for Sugimoto)🤞

I agree that it was so-so but I liked that there was a series where they showed that love doesn't always end with people being together (what I mean is that just because one loves somebody the other one might not feel the same or be too scared to admit it). Usually series end with mains being together, so it was a refreshing ending.

Since Minami appeared I was like: is it going to be love square (Ryo -> Hikaru -> Minami -> Chika -> Ryo)? I was hoping for BL + GL 🤭
For me especially EP07 gives vibes that Hikaru is into Ryo (like his POV is quite sus - looks like he was kind of using Minami as distraction/smoke screen/beard).

Perhaps it's another cooperation with other countries = less censorship?

It's not even filmed yet (the process barely started), so it's hard IMO to judge the series by trailer (so often they look quite different from trailer). Whether it would be good or bad - time will tell.

I find it funny as you on the one side claim that the actor is ugly and on the other complain that it's going to be done for fetishizing. Aren't you fetishizing by claiming that only not-ugly guys (in your opinion) can be part of BL?
There are many couples that look similar in real life and since the actors (whom I presume you both find ugly) aren't related (in real life or series) - what is the problem? IMO it's fine as long as they are distinguishable (for me at the beginning Book and Force in Enchanté were hard to tell apart).

Wouldn't it still be cheating? I don't think that love needs to be component of a relationships for it to qualify as cheating.
There are couples who get married without love (for example in form of arranged marriage). There are couples who fell out of love and (instead of for example divorce) they start cheating.
If it's known that people are in (closed, romantic) relationship, then stepping out of it (without partner(s) consent) should be considered cheating IMO.

Yes, they did. It was known month ago that he won't be taking part in it (relatively recently we got info that Jes is going to be the main).
I don't know if you heard about the whole issue with his ex (she was saying that he abused her but it turned out not to be the truth) - it broke right after they announced this series, so everything went on hold and then he resigned from BOC. Build went to court and cleared his name from accusations, so people were hoping for him to come back.
This I am not sure, so don't quote me: I read that there were some accusations about his not so great behaviour toward his cast mates (I think it was in line of badmouthing). Whether it's true or had anything to do with it I don't know.

Yes, I would highly recommend doing it with headings as EPUB shows you then chapters for easier navigation. I also copy translator's notes and change their colour to blue + cursive (if there are author mores as well, then I use green+cursive), so that I can easily see them (I do it at the very end).
Smal tips when you want to make EPUB (in Word):
- copy all of it, chapter by chapter using paste option without formatting (the icon has letter A)
- copy chapter name 1st and mark it with style (Heading1 if there are no arcs) - it will make it easier to keep track
- use page break after each chapter (don't worry if at the begining it means that you get empty page - once you are done with formatting most of it will disappear; last novel I did started with almost 1500 pages but I ended with a bit over 800)
- remove spacing between the rows (there are some that can be done by using button in Home -> Paragraph -> button with blue up and down arrows next to vertical lines) - instead I use on the ruler (above) option to make left indent = each new paragraph starts with small indent
- the most important - mass removal of "enter" between paragraphs. The easiest is to go to Home -> Editing -> Replace. In top field write ^p^p^p^p^p^p (if you see more empty rows together then more ^p but this amount should be enough to start) and in the bottom field ^p. Click on replace all - he will tell you how many he found (my advise if on 1st go he finds anything at all then you should click on reverse/undo, add more ^p and try again). After he removes them, you should decrease in the top row by ^p (after each, of course, you click on Replace all) untill you have ^p^p which is your last pass - this should leave you with more condensed text.
- if for some reason there are still "enters" between paragraphs it's best to see the cause = Home -> Paragraph -> button that looks like reversed P and next to it is T (PT)
I hope my small tricks help you a bit 😁
