I admit that I like Dunk's voice but in looks department - at least for me - they are not better than FirstKhao. Additionally some people have this magnetism in them, like First's smile or Khaos "shitty puppy dog eyes" and it makes them even more alluring.
I haven't seen any extra "charm" (I don't think the voice is developed to be in that category).
However people have different tastes, so if they prefere JoongDunk's look - 👍

Not really - it's written basically from Peem's perspective (like a diary, perhaps?). There is 1 chapter from Phum's perspective and that's it.
Novel gives a different feel because everybody except Peem seems to be like gangsters (they were constantly fighting) and there was no damaged painting. Additionally all - except Peem and to some degree Phum - seem to be changing girlfriends at similar rate as underwear...
Let me also add that I saw on Meb that there are 4 books and translator mentioned about 70 chapters (there are currently 15 translated), so perhaps we get others perspective in other books...

Considering how they always tease us about PhumPeem, I doubt we are going to get resolution of QToey next EP.
To be honest I would like ChainPun to at least start (QToey don't interest me so much at the moment) - Pun is so chaotic, that it must be hilarious 😁

Check the novel - it's even better there. If you don't mind the spoiler then in chapter 12 Tan tells the story of how they met and how he asked Fang to be his BF (as they were already established at the beginning of the novel). Once he asked Fang, Fang punched him and asked why he waited so long to ask 🤣

As far as I know the story was supposed to be BL but only after main character's fans got furious that removed it, so I guess that once original author sold the rights they had no say in it... (it's not like in Thailand, I guess 🙁)

You should take under consideration that it was a core issue in the novel - original body owner died because he was harassed for being gay. It's kind of like if in the Lord of the Ring the whole ring storyline was removed - people have right to be unhappy about it (and not watch it).
Korea is not China, where government bans/censors BL. Do you know that it was removed because of main character's fans? This means that the project was BL (production company already made BL before this one), actors knew about it (including main character) + were fine with it and it was only changed because some people made a big stink about it. Doesn't that mean that people (who want BL) cannot do it as well? 🤷‍♀️

I am somewhat not satisfied with EP07, because it had given us no resolution of ending scene in EP06. I want to know how he reacted to "not forgetting" 😏 (let's hope by not falling to the lake 😉).

I would also like to get more ChainPun, as Pun is such a oddball 😂 - I love watching that kind of weirdos (one set of pajamas to the pub, please!). I must say I was surprised that he was the one who created the plan of action for Toey - he doesn't seem like the type (it seems to me more like something Tan would come up with). I hope that their love story won't be rushed or cliché 🤞

Out of Phum's friends, I am quite sure that comrade Mick is clueless and Beer knows what is what (most likely since that time they were talking about Phum's "friend" issue - not to mention when they entered Phum's apartment to play games).
From Peem friends: Fai (the girl) definitely knows and Toey is such a shipper (and most likely knows) - the rest are dummies, so I doubt they noticed.
I would also bet that Fang knows (most likely since the night at the bar - why else would he not go with Phum? Fang's little smile when he was asking if that's the guy was so telling 🤭).

Unpopular opinion: I don't really like QToey that much (they are last on my list for this show).
Toey's behaviour like a little baby (the cutesy way he was talking) was really grating on my nerves (he was overusing it). It looks so fake and annoying 😒 I was also not fine with others behaving like since he is crying then he should be forgiven (but that's a common trope in dramas 😮‍💨).
Q - I can't put my finger on it but I just don't like his character as love interest. As a fiend and artist he is fine - perhaps because he usually communicates with others? 🤷‍♀️
I am not saying that their acting is bad but perhaps script and directing of their romance could have been improved.

We don't know how long Tan liked Fang (or have I missed that part?) and for me playboy can also mean easily falls in and out of love. We don't know Tan's history, so I am just speculating that he might be most likely candidate 🤷‍♀️
When it come to Chian I meant that if the girls were chasing him, it might give Pun bad impression/make him think like Chain is two-timing or something like that.
I however wish no cheating happens as I like the couples and none seem at the moment as cheating type.
Also fingers crossed that we don't get caricature villains 🤞(like some crazy ex... especially ex-GF).

I think there might be cheating... You remember how they were all dissing Tan and his playboy ways? If there is cheating then he might be the prime suspect.
Chain was also called playboy (but just by Tan), so he might have like multiple delusional girls chasing him (and hence Pun being cross with him).

IMO people are having difficulties with this series because it's not typical Korean BL. When I was watching it I was thinking it looks more like Japanese BL (story-wise) where one doesn't get everything/solution on a platter (series run time is also not helping here).

I think that even for the natives the language is a big barrier and for me - form (by that I mean play). I am not a fan of pages long descriptions of for example forest (in my curriculum we had several classics that have them 😒) but just dialogues with barley anything surrounding it is quite tiring for me.

Thank you for the short analysis - I remember that we were "dissecting" Romeo and Juliet but we were not talking about the other points (like it being sarcastic/cynical mirror to society, although Romeo ditching Rosaline for the next pretty face is quite cynical).
I don't come from English speaking country, so I guess his works were not considered important enough to get into more details but I find it fascinating and perhaps I might read Taming of the Shrew again and see it in another light.

I agree with you but even if he were a shitty person - the criticism about his behaviour should also be factually true.

Criticism/praise of his acting is a bit like review of restaurant - it is something that sadly public people have to deal with. That doesn't mean that personal attacks (like if they were telling that he is ugly or to dump his significant other because of the ship - I shutter every time I hear about KR actors and the pressure their fans extent 🤯 - the sheer number of self unaliving is tragic) or falls claims are in any way ok.
His family is not public, so same as I would not like to be harassed by (probably) thousands, they shouldn't be either. We all should have right to privacy (even public people) and it should not matter if the sister had any mental issues or not - she is not a public person, so nobody should even think about writing to her. IMO there should be crimal laws against such harassment and they should be inforced.
