Going by that logic both JD and FB don't generate enough revenue as they no longer have solo/main series. JD is part of this and FB part of perfect 10 Liners (as one of several mains).
Are PondPhuwin also in that group? In We Are there were 4 couples, so by this logic they must be a bottom of the barrel...

When it comes to JD: I watched Star in my Mind (I liked Sky in your Heart better) and Hidden Agenda (dropped). They always seem to cast them in the same characters, so I am hoping that due to Dunk being the pursuer the dynamic changes and I will like their storyline.
FB: I dropped Enchanté but picked it back up for Jimmy (=his sporadic cameos), I liked A Boss and a Babe more than Enchanté (I will be honest and say that I wanted more of the 2nd couple), when it comes to Only Frinds their characters had the cheating storyline and I am not fan of that (but in that series I think only April was not a bad guy at some point or other 🤷‍♀️). Overall they are fine for me (Force to often has this painful facial expression but I can get part that).

I am hoping that the script + directing is going to be great, the series itself is going to be a challenge for all of them + that they rise to the occasion and be named the best series of the year.

True but she was talking to Mook and her mother in Thai and I think that she used the same version of grandma for both, so her talking French wasn't supposed to point us to her lie, I think.
As native speaker - how would you "grade" her French? For my (trained on few shows) ears at least "kisses" were sounding correct 😀
(I remember years ago watching Neon Genesis Evengelion with JP dubbing, I think and Asuka was talking to her mother in German - I know German but I started doubting after hearing that 😂)

I know from watching Chinese dramas, that they have different words for family members depending if they are from mother's side or father's, so I presumed, since TH is close and some concept like to travel, that they might have similar. Ah! I saw this as well. I think recently I was actually reading CH novel and they were like: let's send him there - it's not safe there, easy for accident and also drugs are rampant 🙄

You are right about the skin colour - you cannot get much whiter (we are excluding sickness) than what you were born with and judging people by their skin colour or appearance is simply dumb/elitist.

I think that this stereotype is ingrained deeply in the culture. I get why - if person is poor, they usually have to work outside and hence they get darker skin tone. Only wealthy/privileged could not work, stay at home and avoid the sun. Wealthy set the beauty standards, ergo...

To be fair people usually have 2 grandmas, so it is possible that she was talking about the other one... Then again it's Vie and she is just so manipulative (honestly I really don't like her "love" 🤢 storyline but she is quite good as a friend).
Some languages have different word for family members depending from which "branch" they come, so perhaps she used world meaning grandma-from-mother's-side or something?

I'm on EP08 and have some thought about Qin family.
I think that older bro (QL) is much older (so more than 6 years) than sister (QZZ) and is similar age to his manservant/best friend (CYZ). Only the 3 of them were living in seclusion, so the 2 guys were basically rising her. When she returned after giving sword to he Prince they were teasing her and behaving like parents would (not to mention how close they were standing and the way they were communicating with just eyes). Suspicious!
Are we sure that "shady abode" has rooms for each of them or do the guys have to "brave it"/"QL needs manservant's assistance during night, as any young master would"/insert-any-other-"valid"-excuse and hence they have no other choice but to BL? 😏🤭

I am quite enjoying this adaptation (perhaps because I really liked JP one as well... when it comes to Cherry Magic JP I wasn't really invested in it, so TH couldn't make a giant difference...)
EP05 was fun but there was 1 thing that was bothering me - Mudmee's hair. Honestly (since EP01) I thought that she might be wearing a wig to look like her JP version but in this EP my doubt was resolved, as she has shorter hair at the end of the camp. This however leads to another question: who (and by whom) cuts their hair at camp? I really liked her hair to be a bit shorter, as longer hair were to heavy and stuck to her face (since they cannot "bounce").

Have you seen "Zettai BL (...)" ("Man who defies world of BL")? 🤭 There the plot point/trope was that only background characters of fuzzy girls we "safe" from BLing... or so Mob thought! 🤣
"We are" is one current example with at the moment 3 established couples.
In "KinnPorshe" 2 or 3 bros + at least one cousin were is relationship with guys (AO3 authors often make Macao like a 3rd with Kim and Porchay...).
Similarly in "S.C.I." we got 2 bothers (in the tv series they changed older bro to sister 😒) and their cousin that were BLing.
Same is "Because of you" - all 3 step-bros ended up with BFs.

People say that birds of a feather flock together, so is it surprising that they have friends/colleagues who are homosexual/bisexual as well? If I remember correctly homosexually is observed in around 10% of population and with bisexuality the procentsge rises to around 20%, so if in the classroom are 30 students - 6 might be 🏳️‍🌈 and they (all or some) might form friendship/romantic relationship.
