Those were my exact thoughts about him! Besides Pie said that he is the same as in: a man of few words. Yes, he still is like that but as you said - he uses his words better now, got more confidence (no surprise as he had no clue about the job at the beginning and is a bit of a clutz) and is more open. I see a lot of growth (even though they put to much focus on the 2nd couple: I am still not fan of their storyline and I don't find it super realistic for now, as people don't change that fast and drastically like Tae did - except after near-death experience - and for it to last in this scenario is a pipe dream).

I thing you might have had opportunity to see adaptation of her other works: Manner of Death (MoD) and Triage (and Spare me your Mercy is apparently in the works). There was also some cooking themed series but I never watched it as reviews were quite bad (Sammon is a doctor, so MoD and other of her medical novels are easier for her to write IMO, as she knows this stuff from experience).
I haven't finished Triage (novel) yet but when it comes to MoD the screen writers changed Dr Bun's character a lot (and added extra intrigue), so it was better in that aspect. However I must say I liked BL side couple (student and a similarly aged thug) a bit more in the book - it was a more believable presentation of an actual thug (not to mention funier in some aspects: like Sarawat saying that cheating is totally out of the question because he would get beaten up and Dr Bun thinking that he has fierce GF 🤣... this has extra layer of funny when one knows that Sarawat had crush on Dr Bun and Tan even pointed it out to him, so why he thought GF instead of BF? Or was that translation issue, as faen is unisex? The could have used "partner" to make it equally as unisex/ambiguous.. 🤔).

After reading so many negative comments about EP10, a decided to wait for EP11 and check comments again (EP10 had basically everybody rebelling about lack of JaneRayan 🤭 and too much of side character and I must say that this cheating storyline is not my coup of tea).

So now I am in the middle of EP10 and got hit once again by the photos. Tae and Bamhee have been together for year but it seems like they only have 2 pictures together (and each was using one of the photos as their social media picture) - they are reusing it them to the max. On a side note: they should both stay single for a while, do some serious introspection and only then start a new relationship (I would honestly not be able to trust my partner if they cheated). Now Bahmee is complaining about Judy to Pie (π) 🤦‍♀️ - she is doing exactly the same thing she did with Tae. Why not communicate with the person who it is actually about?
Now to Rayan - printer "talk" had expected resolution but was still quite cute (the waist of paper! 😭 What is chat/social media/etc. for if not for this? If they want to keep it private, then there are chats that delete itself after X amount of time 🤦‍♀️).
I am wondering if Pie (π): knows already but just teases Rayan about Baimon, just found out from the papers or is actually still clueless 🤔

Have you read any of Sammon's novels (she is screenwriter here)? This is how it usually goes in her novels: one of the mains inexplicably gets obsessed with the other one (like love from 1st sight but add a big scoop of obsession), so for me it's kind of like her standard setting. I was hopping that somebody would help her with character building as IMO it's her weakest point (including romance) but either they needed more EPs to flesh them out or better writing 😮‍💨

Until I think EP02 I was certain that the title is Cosmetic Playover (yes, I "eat" L in PlayLover) 😅 which made this make not much sense but I was like whatever 🤣
I get Toma falling in love (we see the progression) but Natsume? It's kind of 0 to 100 for him IMO. It felt like some parts were missing (like with loving arrangements) - I think only once they indicated how much time has passed, which would make behind the screen progression more logical.
I loved the supportive family members (and coworkers) - they were so shipping them 🤭
Toma's apartment - I had such a deja vu of What Did You Eat Yesterday? I think that the entrance was in a different place, thought (in CPL it was - when one looks towards kitchen, from behind the table - on top right but in WDYEY? it was on the left, so behind sitting Toma).
I liked it better than Takara no Vidro but it's not JP BL I am used to, like it was not cute/charming (like Kieta Hatsukoi or Bokura no Shokutaku or 8.2 Byo no Hosoku) or with unhinged/obsessed characters (like Taikan Yoho or Utsukushii Kate) or porn with plot (like Bokura no Micro na Shuumatsu). It was missing that distinctive JP vibe but it wasn't bad. I liked that Natsume was quite brave (I think he was out to his family) and they talked the issues most of the time.

I am almost at the end and it's kind of like My Beautiful Man - we get the other guys perspective a bit and he was interested from the beginning and is insinuating for few EPs that he, like his mother, use what they can to get whet they want but I could not pinpoint it (the only problem was that he was not actually answering so of the questions).
This doesn't change the fact that I thought as well that changing university just to say thank you is not exactly normal (and piercing his ears 🙄). Starker was also my 1st thought (and then he got his own stalker 🤦‍♀️). Let's add to that his overall behaviour, like needing minutes to string a sentence - I don't get his appeal at all. Then again the series talks about beauty being in the eyes of beholder 🤷‍♀️
At the end there is mention of spin-off, so I am hoping for resolution to hiking with grandfather Vs university...

You mean slutier/regular versions? If so: slutier is longer (due to regular having cut some "spice").

Chai Jidan is sadly that kind of author. Whenever there is a subject of her "works" I try to caution people about her "style". The novel I read the most of is Counterattack. Synopsis seems not so bad: MC1's exGF wants to be with ML1, so he decides to beat her to the punch and snach the guy. Light-hearted comedy, right? Nope. When she tried to break up with him, MC1 would smak his head with a brick, which landed him in clinic of MC2 (doctor). After multiple "brickings" he finally decides to live and earn money. The whole plan to get ML1 is more like accident. Additionally ML1 likes thick buts and MC1 has it (if I remember correctly they like s°x - if you can call it that - rough). ML1 has a super intelligent snake and kind of because of that he is kind of frenemy of ML2 who is in snake business and a stalker of MC2. Now let's move to gross parts: they (ML1 and ML2) use snake to check girl's virginity 🤮 🤦‍♀️ Another sick plotline is MC2 and his exBF. Said ex wanted to end their relationship, so he staged gang r°pe of MC2 🤬and use it as excuse to break up (MC2 no longer being "clean"). It turns out that r°pe was faked (not sure how doctor could not figure it out himself) but still. MC2 finally ends up with ML2 and they surprisingly have quite vanilla s°x life.

Apparently yes and no. It's similar concept (young people struggles/problems) but they are not doing copy of SKAM which for me means that they are definitely cutting S3 plot (in KR it seems that "don't say gay" in mainstream TV show is a must 🙄). I wonder if they are going to do like bullying storyline, as this is super common in KR 😢

I saw some people commenting that now they are mostly ok with her or feel sorry for her. I am not - it's a mess of her own making. Now she has a ton of excuses how Tae was bad. If he was so bad why not break up with him before kissing somebody else? 🤦‍♀️
She is not sorry IMO - all her tear were like: "you made me feel bad (because you got in accident due to my selfishness)!" 😮‍💨 I see her tear as a manipulation tactic more than true remorse for the actions (and not that she got caught and now facing the music).

It's sad that Tae is so hopeless - he should really get a grip and become his own self (and after that find himself "a doctor" - perhaps dermatologist? - so that they can take care of each other 🤭). Peeling shrimp is not a rocket science, he can do it! SuSu!

I totally agree. I would only like to add that she should do some big introspection - her track record shows that she falls in love due to proximity. What is going to happen once internships ends? Is she going to start new romance with somebody in her department at University? At next internship (not sure how many they have to take)? Next job?
Her view of relationship is simply not realistic as at the beginning it was clearly shown that she would love nothing more than be joined by the hip with Tae (I wonder how their relationship survived different departments at University) and getting job at the same place is hard + you actually have to work 🤦‍♀️

I just started watching and Dai is just like Jun Seong in HIS Man: he knew straight away that he is interested in one guy, was quite forward in expressing it (to the point that everybody knew) but was actually the most popular guy (I mean he would be if not for all to knowing immediately that they had no chance with him). Perhaps it's Great who is having like a mental breakdown? He thinks that he saved Dome (same with the girl) but perhaps it's all his wishful thinking. Like he wanted to do things differently so in his head - he was able to make things right.
I remember in trailer they did like reverse of the sequences and voiceover was talking about it being basically a lie.

As far as I can tell they are step-bros. I think the current wife is Great's mother. I think she was instrumental in Korn getting "promotion" and she wants Great to have the safe (not "dirty") position in the company (additionally Great doesn't seem to have mentality needed for the "special" department - he seems to have some moral code/core or at least starts to develop one).
Since they are rich, it must be the classic struggle for power (where mother is forcing her biological son to step to the ring). Korn seems to actually want his father's approval, so (regards of what Great actually wants) he most likely sees Great as competition (and one with unfair advantage).
This doesn't excuse being two-faced.

I can clearly see her pattern of falling in love by proximity: she was sitting next to Tae, so she fell in love in him. Now she spends less time with him and more with somebody else, so...

How would a same sex couple be called if they are both bi or just one of them is bi (I am assuming that by "not lesbian" you mean bi)? I genuinely wonder is there is a word for that (if they are both bi: bi couple? 🤔).

I'm on EP05 and again we have HDD talk. My question is: why do they carry a bag or backpack? For decoration? Is it really so hard to put HDD there (from my assesment said bag/backpack are barely filled)? 🤦‍♀️ Even if there are other stuff there and it would not fit all together - it's still safer (as HDD is - let's face it - more fragile than other things he might have in his bag) to put it in backpack and take other item out instead.
It's not just this series but in many they have flat backpack and still carry books, gift etc. in hands/arms - why carry the backpack then?!

Side note: from the comments I read about preview of EP07 - it's rich of her to accuse HDD of trying to steal her BF...

As for the GL - I see one silver lining: Tae doesn't have to be with her (I am on EP04 - vitamin-HDD) - she is so annoying! I have been hoping for some time for them to break up (she was bugging him relentlessly and had the sulks/put on airs to others) but still the cheating 😬 Now I am crossing my fingers for him to find a nice BF, he can be a doctor, you know 😏

I am just catching up (EP04 - right after the whole vitamin-HDD scene + "solutions" 🤦‍♀️) and for me she is constantly annoying, so I am actually hoping for them to break up (and perhaps he can start to date a certain doctor 😉) - not you showned me a light in the tunel, thank you 😀.
