Hae Sang just couldn't catch a break, could he? Traumatized from the very young age, seeing ghosts all his life,…
Don't forget about Ujin - his only friend, I would say. Not only he sacrificed himself for Hae Sang but was murdered by grandmother (we all know that "the accident" was no accident as well). That must have left another big hole in Hea Sangs life.
Yes, much more. I literally had to "dose" some EPs of "The Guest" because they were so scary (or be careful not to watch in the evening or to watch something light afterwards π€). For me "Revenant" was going in the creepy territory more than scary. I liked the folklore and "old wife's tales" in this show.
Ghost started doing self harm and prof's reaction was doing nothing π My man - burn it and she won't be able to continue! For interested - no actual romance π (they were hinting with both MLs till the end thou π).
I know some might not agree with what I am about to sayβ¦I feel for the momβ¦.honestly I doβ¦ but at the same…
I think that the shipper girl needs to level up (fujoshi = rotten woman, and that has certain status in the people's eyes she should aspire to live up to π). What she is daydreaming is so not hot enough as I know we all want to see π¦ π€ Duo is essential. Period.
I feel a bit bad for the mum tho sheβs not that bad πππ
Is she? She left 10 years ago and I get that she might have wanted to get money for her child's better life - did he sent any over the years? Basing on the situation I doubt it. Did she contacted them? 5 times in total before start of the series (that's roughly once every 2 years). Does she have any pictures of her son (maybe the one from 6 years ago)? I haven't seen any anywhere in her house (the only pictures seem to be in WB's mom studio). Now she is throwing money at SY (and Duo) and thinks that it would solve the issue instantly. Does she actually want to reconcile with SY or is she just lonely? Or perhaps he is just a tool to her? He might think that she wants to use him like she tried to use Duo - get trough him to the real "prize", WB. I got thins weird filling that every time she tries to get close to SY, something else than her love for him was the cause. I am not saying that she is evil but if she truly wants to reconcile she is going about it the wrong way. She contacted them on her timeline now she needs to do things on their terms, as she made her bed and now has to sleep in it.
Can someone do me spoiler pls have they started dating??
So far we are on EP 16 and no, not officially dating (they live together thou). We still have 8 EPs to go, so who knows? This theoretically Chinese BL, so probably not...
that is one of the many things that bug the sh*t outta me about real life and TV showshow these replacement people…
I think that it might be a bit different in Chinese culture - I remember reading novels (theoretically set in the past), where 1st wife was called mother by all of her husband's children (one was like the empress and the other was just married as the 2nd wife but since 1st was dead they all were supposed to call her that - even children from 1st wife) π€·ββοΈ In some Asian cultures they call their friends mother "mother", so it might be viewed differently. As for substituting: sometimes the "new" parent is demanding things they have no right to but there are families where they are considered to be more of a "mother"/"father" than the bio one, so I would not generalized. In this series SY's mom vs. Duo's mom - who is actually more of a mother figure to SY is clear (to WB as well). This show is epitome of: "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb".
What was the kiss scene in episode 14 ? If you are never going to address it again ... Then why include it ...…
Thanks for confirming my suspicions: I am on EP 9 and I thought that Jay is most likely the illustrious president (especially since the case files of the prodigies did not mention him or some skills that weren't previously mentioned and his behaviour towards "mechanic" when he almost slipped and told him Ro Um's target in the vault). Why spoil the series with romance π? I really doesn't need it.
How to get everyone grinning from ear to ear: By Su YuTo mom: I don't like sweetsTo wicked one: Punch wasn't for…
With the sweet dumplings, yes he made a mess but I think that he burned the pancakes on purpose (he eat one and it was ok), so there might be some hope for him.
I agree. WuBi and SuYu are NOT blood related, so anyone who thinks it's incest is way of the mark.
Yes, you are right legally. I meant that if children are raised together as siblings from early age then they form bonds like blood related siblings do and then it gets into incest-like territory IMO. I find it curious that adoption of the child would make it incest but without it - all other circumstances being the same - it would not π€ Would that also be so if the child is basically an adult when being adopted (or an adult - I think that in Japan you can adopt regardless of "child's" age)?
this guy again haha no man but hong sae cares about san young and there are moments of amazing chemistry b/w them…
I for one hope it does not happen (like in "The Guest") - the story really doesn't need it IMO but for me it looks a bit like she and the policeman might be the end goal... Side note: when I was checking cast, it was stated next to Ujin that he is prof's partner, so my fujoshi brain went to the gutter π€ The story however never depicted their relationship before Ujin's passing as more than acquaintances (after it was like friends with prof mentioning - if I remember correctly - that his "gift" makes it possible to see the one he misses).

And they did not grew up together (if they were raised since childhood as bros then we might have some grounds for incest label but they met as young adults, 16 years olds)!
Sadly that seems to be the only type of girΕs inmost of BLs πIn this one we even have 2 like that ("Taiwanese…
Does she thou? He doesn't seem interested (at most like his possession/accessory). Remember how she mentioned that what pushed her to come back was the phone call? The one where WB told her that SY likes somebody else. IMO she also sees him a bit like her possession - he was never interested in another girl, so she felt special, I guess
Totally enjoying the slow unravelling of this mystery with the long haired ghost. Just when I couldn't be more…
The ghost requires one to sacrifice what they love the most, so perhaps she loved her younger sister the most and hence Lee Mokdan. Grandmother seems to crave money, power and immortality - nothing else matters. I think that killing Ujin was one of the cruelest and heartless think she did (she most likely did not know the girl - girl must have been still teen when she died and grandmother was adult at the time). And after that she kept his father like nothing has happened. The only silver lining is Ujin's constant presence in Haesang's life - without him he would have been totally alone/alienated.
