Yes, very messy (apparently the author did not want them to be adapted because supposedly the books were like warning about toxic relationships, so she doesn't want this behaviour to be romanticised in the series and hence making it more acceptable). Then we are going to get additionally another Kamol/Kim 😂

Get ready for another one if they actually do series for book 1&2 (as far as I know it's being done by different studio, so most likely different actors). MDL already has it's page up (it has "beginning" in the title).
There aren't - this is based on book 3 with a lot of flashbacks about important stuff from book 1&2. Apparently…
Grab alternatives whole you can (I suggest to use something like WattpadDownloader, just to be on the safe side). As for Chinese novels - there are some authors that do it right. ChrisantemiumGarden (we all know from where the name comes from 😏) has collection of some that are not half bad (and r*pe free).

They are not the only ones, some Chinese novels are hardcore as well. Chai Jidan is my "favourite" example if that - she is going "from r*pe to love" route but in "Counter Attack" she added snake. Super inteligent one. So smart that it was used to check girls virginity... you can guess how 🤮 (let's forget that it's also a myth that you can actually check that).
I dont mind the love triangke as long as Lomfon doesn't settle for Tien bécause he didn't get Tai. I honestly…
Yes, it's hardly believable for all siblings to be gay (or bi) but you know how the things work in BL word (if not I suggest "Zettai BL (...)" - manga version has it all 😉 - or "Love Syndrome" book universe, where any non-married guy is going to sooner or later find himself a BF 😂).
I dont mind the love triangke as long as Lomfon doesn't settle for Tien bécause he didn't get Tai. I honestly…
Agreed! I like their relationship too (they are close, even thought they were separated after parents divorce 2 years earlier and are at different points of life). I would love to see more of the other 2 siblings (oldest bro could have BF, as well 😏).

Yes! Guy is not only taken but has additional "buff" of the soulmate thing, so Lomfon's chances are down the drain. I was hoping for Tian and Lomfon to have enemies to lovers route but what we see from this love triangle (or is it square, since Tian definitely has feelings for Lomfon? 🤔) it might go the messy, "settling for replacement" way 😒
Unpopular opinion, I guess, but whenever Pee does this gentle smile (so... always), he looks like he is faking…
That! My feelings exactly (I was trying to be displomatic and overshoot 😉)! I always get this feeling that he is plotting something (like when cat came to him in vet clinic and he was not supposed to be working that day, I was like... was he planning on killing puppies?). He is rich, so perhaps he has some cabin in the woods where the bodies are piling... and Lomfon's might join them soon 😋
I think I liked visuals of this Kamol better - Yoon is too cute to be badass mafia head 😆 + Kamol should be…
@HwangAki I agree to most of what you said (jup - total bitch 😂) but what I meant was face-wise this Kamol looks more like a mafia and he wasn't in orphanage with Day, right (I haven't read the whole Kamol/Kim book, so I might have missed something)? Day and Kim are the same age (they were friends in highschool, I think) and Kamol was already mafia head when he recruited Day, who was teenager at the time, to join his operation, I think. Bar scene was all kinds of bad 😂 (for Yoon's face to be manly in comparison he would have to be paired with ageless cutie like Gun 🤣🤣🤣)
Sorry, my own opinion: more annoying than Bow are they (the flashbacks) not.Maybe there is common for a girl to…
I agree with you and OP: flashbacks about something that just happened are especially annoying to me, like do they think we have brains of Daphnia (that's a saying in my country)? Bow is annoying (actress was basically playing the same character in "Ruk Diao") but it seems to be constant archetype in series (sometimes it's done by "lady-boys", like the Angel Squad in "Love Sick").
I swear Title and Pee have both gotten better at acting but Title is kinda blowing me away. I'm not only impressed…
Unpopular opinion, I guess, but whenever Pee does this gentle smile (so... always), he looks like he is faking being nice. I cannot shake this feeling whenever he does it, even though I know by just him being ML, he cannot be white lotus bitch.
I finally decided to watch this as I was hoping to binge watch all the episodes at once, only to find out the…
Yes! That is exactly why I think that they made the right choice to adapt book 3 with flashbacks, because before it the toxicity - especially in book 1 - was off the charts 🤢 I liked this one and watched regular version 1st (did not realised that there was going to be uncut 😒) and now I am doing something I almost never do - watch uncut (I skipped a scene once, so proud of myself 😉), so the surprise postponement of last 2 EPs annoyed me.
I have a question, will there be another series that will show another season of the series, such as the story…
There is apparently one in the making (not sure how far) about Day/Itt from book 1&2 (has beginning added to the title - page is up on MDL) but it's done by different studio, I think, so actors should be different. Not sure if Night/Gear book was interesting enough to make it into a series but Nick/Neil (they have 2 separate books, I think) and Mac/Nan... 🤔
Ok I started this today and I have to say I let out a laugh when they introduced Kim and Kamol 🤣 My YoonTon…
I think I liked visuals of this Kamol better - Yoon is too cute to be badass mafia head 😆 + Kamol should be significantly older than Day/Kim, right? On the other hand Kim was not as I would imagine (in book Itt is self-conscious about him, because apparently Kim is more handsome/prettier than him, so Ton fit THAT better, IMO).
Question: Where are the first 2 seasons? Why is it called 3?
There aren't - this is based on book 3 with a lot of flashbacks about important stuff from book 1&2. Apparently some other studio is doing book 1&2 (as one season, not filmed yet), so actors should be different. Honestly after reading books - we did not loose much (like sanity) by them not adapting those 2 books so far. Itt gets beaten, r*ped, confined to a room for some time, then Day controls his everything (means of transportation, food, whom he can meet etc.), so is basically a classic domestic abuser (romanticised version, of course). Only Night, when he sees the recoding of the initial r*pe (and there were multiple since then), tries to help Itt but it's already to late - he is totally dependent on Day. Our main couple has another big issue, but that's just a [drama] normal one - cannot communicate (Itt wanted to celebrate some holiday in Bangkok, like usually with his friends but Day said that that are going to another city and that was it from Day's POV, so Itt got angry but one on his friends told him that Day wanted them to go to Day's parents graves and that made Itt turn 180° on the subject, not to mention when he was told that his friends are going with them... so why Day did not tell him that? It's not like he shares info about his private life constantly, so Itt most likely did not know where his parents were buried). In 2nd book they get cute kid to take care (he is about 5, if I remember correctly). Sweet, right? Not so much when you consider that kid's parentents (mom is Itt's cousin, I think) offloaded him on our mains because apparently they cannot go to vacation with him (let's add to that that our mains were informed about this arrangement - endorsed by the whole family - like 2 days before parents departure, so the kid barely knew them). Want more of parents irresponsibility? They don't live in Thailand, so kid's knowledge of local culture, language etc. was limited. To sum it up: they abandoned little kid for weeks in foreign country with strangers. Outside if those "gems" book 1&2 are filled with one of the two being baselessly jealous of the other (one guy, once he met Day, dropped any pursuit of Itt, but Day never let that stop him 🙄) and violent s*x (in one scene Day said that they are doing it without lube because he cannot be bothered to go to next room to get it 🤢... very rarely is there any mention of preparation, they sometimes use lube and condoms were used once - not to dirty the place - so I don't know how Itt is alive, because Day was tearing his "love channel" on the regular in the beginning... I don't even want to think about STDs). I also don't like Itt's family who (after father approved their relationship) are constantly telling Itt to do as Day tells him (=no opinion, no free will etc.). His dad even mentions that Day and him are the same, so I wonder how he treated his wife and why he was not able to control his son but (implied) the same methods work when Day is involved 🤯 They also told extended family about our mains relationship (positive, yey!) but haven't told about it to the mains and Itt (wanting to spear his parents grief from said family, told his parents and Day to keep their relationship as a secret) then was the but off a joke (Day overheard family's talk on day 1 and decided to join them in this cruel joke). It seems like I am defending Itt and putting all the blame on Day (true) but Itt is not pure and naïve child (maybe to some degree + a lot of whining). He has flaws but Day is on the one hand trying to balloon them and on the other they are source of obvious future conflict and Day [with his infuriating smirks] doesn't seem to understand how to handle it in adult way (words are not made of gold - he won't lose anything if he communities with his partner) and often future s*x is treated like a punishment (Day's words!). Final thoughts - you can watch this without knowing book 1&2 as they do plenty of flashbacks that explain key issues (they changed them a bit - like in shooting scene, nobody lands in the pool and both mains get shot, but it doesn't change the plot in significant way).
Same!! I held off watching this until the last moment because I was planning to binge watch all the episodes at…
It is slightly better (not sure why Itt gets extremely hostile toward any man who even looks at Day but his ex, Kim, doesn't warrant any such reaction) and similarly bad. I really cannot stand everybody treating Itt as a child or a dummy and Day simply is always right + Itt should just blindly follow (his family is approving and encouraging it). Itt is not a genius but if Day talked to him, like a partner should, things would be easier. From the plus side - Salmon. That's a minus as well because the reason he is staying with our couple is just bizarre. Basically his parents live with him in another country, came to Thailand for vacation and the kid would spoil their plans somehow, so they offloaded him to relatives (in other words: little kid got abandoned in foreign country with not a great knowledge of it, it's culture and language). The whole family just decided that Itt and Day should take care of him and kid's mom was even using the kid to manipulate them into agreement (he is appearing around mid-point of the book, which is where I am at). They want to adapt that 🤢? With the same actors (I hope not - they were doing good job with what they had here and as a reward/good karma they should be spared book 1)?
Why were the last 2 EPs postponed till next week? I was doing uncut marathon just to finish with them 😭 Some say that the series is bad - I've seen much worse ("Physical therapy", "Oh! My Sunshine Night" just from the top of my head). I read the books (currently in the middle of the 2nd) and I am glad that they have not used material from them (especially 1st 🤢). I always imagined Day as a bit of a thuggish looking (even though author was describing him as super handsome) and Lee Long Shi has quite cute face (he cannot compare to Kokliang's - Nick's - but that guy's cuteness goes to Gun's territory).
Then we are going to get additionally another Kamol/Kim 😂
