I finished it and got to wonder about one thing. Both for Wen and Jim "home" is not a place but a person, right?
LiMing is leaving soon to US (it was his last year of HS, I think), so Jim doesn't have to take care of him anymore (like a place to sleep etc.). The house they lived in was rented, the restaurant was turned to food truck (=mobile). Wen was at most renting the new apartment (if he actually did it and not simply mooved in with Jim - I think them talking about Wen buying a new one was just a cover up from his friend), Alan was no longer in the picture (the break up was finalized and Alan got healthy enough to not need help anymore).
Taking all of the above in to consideration: why did Wen decided not to take the job? Both Jim and Wen could have moved. I presume that Wen could have asked for delay of the move (although I doubt they would have needed for him to move immediately) so that LiMing could finish school and depart for the US but other than that what was the reason?
Jim being close to 40 was totally unbelievable.
LiMing + Heart were the best - would have loved for subtitles to include sign language translation as well (although one could figure out most of it).
Alan + Gaipa needed more development - it looked like something thrown together at the last minute to satisfy fans -> I for once am not satisfied! IMO they would be great fit character wise, as Alan needs love and Gaipa cannot stop showing/offering his 💕.

I read more than 1 Vol. of the novel (MLT, so the quality was bad - Thai seem to be to hard for it) and it was toxic to the max - Day basically kidnaped and r*ped Itt into submission. Why? Because he gave idea to his friend to r*pe Days younger brother, Night. Honestly I don't know if it was actually a r*ape since Night did not seem to have any resentment and was like instantly lovely-dovey/dating his supposed assaulter 🤷‍♀️ (there is also series about them but I just couldn't force myself to read it).
I get that his little bro was super precious to him but why not get revenge on the person who actually did it (if I understood correctly Itt suggested it but there was not even peer pressure for him to commit the s*x assault) - this guy (I can't bother to even remember his name) never got any sort of retribution from big bro (the worst was that Day did not allow him to spend night at their house = with Night).
After the whole horrific experience Itt changed to basically doormat and dummy who cannot do anything without Day (damsel in distress). For some reason Day had separate apartment where he kept Itt and house where he and Night lived. His only source of income seemed to be hair salon in another city 🤯 I don't know if it was the translation or just the author but it was all so weird and frankly disgusting (I always think of Chi Ji Dan when I see romanticisation of r*pe 🤮).

Her not being afraid while meeting with "uncle": of course he is not going to hurt her - she has a daddy who is powerful but ML does not, so her making fun of him was just unnecessary. Her threatening that she would call her dad and falsely accuse MC were the last drop for me 🤬. I know that she is a spoiled princess but come on!
If not for her daddy she would be nothing (the tabloid is not paying her enough to be able to stay at MC's place, not to mention her clothing, hair and make up) - I think that ML as well would have been less tolerant of her (he does it out of respect of guess who - DADDY... + maybe sees her a bit like an annoying younger sister).
I truly feel sorry for anybody who would have misfortune to marry person like her (apparently that's or MC - he should dump her and start "BLing" with ML 🥰).
I petition to remove "sassy FL" from tag and instead add "annoying/braty FL".

My 2 cents about "Man Who Defies (...)" - in my opinion it was bad they they actually paired him with somebody. The series was making fun of BL tropes. In manga you can clearly see that he is sly enough to avoid raising a flag. I simply loved how he was able to quickly identify the flag and got a way to neutralise it or shift to somebody else 😆. The series should have more of those elements and not to add the pointless romance.

Not to be a killjoy but the chances for it to happen any time soon are small due to Tul (his education) 😞
I can wait but it would be great if that book was translated (as "Manner of Death", "Triage" and "Spare me your mercy" were - the last one doesn't have TV adaptation yet*)
*It's understandable since it's about euthanasia, a bit of a taboo topic in Thailand (as I understood from the book).

I'm watched more than half and for me big brother and PXZ have better chemistry together (WLY is quite suggestive when they drink together 🔥) than with the girl they both supposedly love.
