I think the best way to get the discussion you are interested in is to start it yourself. Everyone tends to write about what catches their attention, and that does not mean they are dismissing other characters or think only the main character matters.

I would be careful with “Tian Xi Wei stole the spotlight” because it can read as praise for her or as saying she overshadowed everyone else. If it is the latter, it can sound like you are complimenting the others at her expense.

If you had just written this and left it at that: “Gu Yu Feng’s acting was so good, especially in episodes 16 and 17; Zhao Fu’s struggles feel so real, and Aunt Heng’e was so well done. I could see her love for Jun Dai so easily,” you would have had a strong post and likely got more of the engagement you are after.

I don’t think it’s about the pace or setup; there’s nothing wrong with those. The issue, I think, is how they introduced FL to ML through unwarranted domineering, disrespectful and abusive behaviour.

It’s too early to do this because we do not yet relate to her or sympathise with her.

Unless the production team was creating this solely for their existing fan base and hoping to capitalise on their past drama, this may be too much for viewers new to FL and ML, who might just drop it after episode 4.

The directors and screenwriters chose to irritate us with FL’s character so early on, this will be a disadvantage for the show. Many might drop it because we have nothing to relate to with her and domineering and abusive behavior,

I find that she’s too much than her other characters, she easily claps and kicks ML with no restraint.

Even does that annoying puppy patting on his face like he’s a dog. It’s unbecoming.

I don’t like FLs who belittle MLs with no reason. Even with reason, there are degrees on how far one can go.

It’s that’s the case, it’s because there’s too many options to choose from, there are many new dramas recently and very good too.

However, for me, her character personality justifies the rating.

I don’t think so, it’s just the writing and rage baiting by producers. In dramas where romance is subplot, you rarely get divorce or breakups. Couples work it out. It was possible here too. But it seems like they want too much shock and awe.

Just episode 4 alone, the rating makes sense. FL has been too domineering, abusive and disrespectful. It’s too much already. Don’t know what will make ML fall for her later on.

Always, it’s always matured and no unnecessary divorce or breakup.

So, in Cdrama land, couples and families cannot fix problems without divorce?
