just loving this lakorn. just laugh out hilariousness from all characters. the leads have amazing chemistry....a mixture of adorableness and sexy.
On Love & Life & Lie Feb 15, 2017
This is the kind of show you watch when your either bored or have no other show to watch and even then turn your brain completely off. I am still watching it because the leads are so adorably cute and as someone mentioned the leads acting is impeccable. So if u don't mind the cliches, the cute leads, and having to turn off your brain while watching you will love this drama.

Title Missing 9 Spoiler
Didn't liked the fact that they putted the suicide of Jae Hyun on Tae Ho just to make Jun Oh's character…
No, I agree that from the beginning it wasn't a suicide or ultimately it wasn't just from what Jun Oh said to him the night before.

they are not trying to show Jun Oh as a clean character or at least that's not how i see him. I see him as a character that has a lot of positive character attributes but ALOT of flaws which includes covering for the faults of others which leads to misunderstandings and him being used as a scapegoat. even the drunk driving incident that span the flames of his degradation in the public eyes, was not caused by him. instead its always this protective mentality he shields on, carrying the fault of others and masking it as his own, which in reality is not helpful as the crook or the person who really did it gets away scott free without paying the consequences. this case in point is when he doesn't effectively deal with Tae Oh after he murders Yeol. He takes the responsibility of them being in a group, him being the older brother, and instead have him come back to the rest of the group. this results in Tae Oh killing So Hee.

This drama makes me so angry and I hate Tae Ho more and more with each episode. And is it just me or they are…
I agree with you completely. I feel like somehow there is such a huge disconnect on their reaction to Tae Ho's actions. I cannot even watched this on a week to week basis anymore as my patience of the illogical thought process that occurs is maddening.

I mean this guy is a psychopath who has killed (how many now 4, 5 or 6????) and attempted murder how many times (lets not even count) and i feel the reaction is not matching up to what he did. I understand when they were in the island, are they supposed to let him die? But at the same part are they supposed to let him kill them one by one? At least throw him out to sea on a raft. Or knock him out and put him on the other island that Bong Hee and So Hee got stuck on (i think in episode 5 or 6). He is nuts!!!! He will kill them all if not!!! I want to finish this for the female and male leads and just turn my brain off for now.

Title Bunlang Dok Mai Spoiler
Is this a bit similat to 1% of anything? :)
I would say no (although I haven't watched 1% of anything i get the synopsis of it where the leads marry for a contract/fake marriage so the male lead can get his inheritance and then they actually fall in love).

Instead, the synopsis for this lakorn is incorrect, cause so far from watching, the male lead's grandfather has place the female lead or Pud, as the guarantor or overseer for the male lead or Anawin's inheritance. Basically the grandfather placed two conditions for Anawin to receive his inheritance: where he has to work at Pud or the female lead's farm for a year or concede 50% of it to charity. Also the female lead has responsibility over all the properities and company until Anawin at least finish his year term or concede half of it to charity. the point being in changing his grandson for the better but also the leads fall in love along the way despite their love/hate relationship towards one another.

Mmmh seems interesting. I want to know. Does it focus on the leads abilities (strategist, military general) and…
No problem;-)
I didn't really know what to think before heading in but i know what i think heading out, based on episode 1 and it is just AMAZING!!! The leads chemistry is hard to describe as cute/sexy.....but it is there and i just love their interactions. It makes it hard to wait for one episode per week but i am looking for more and waiting for more.

Title General and I Spoiler
Mmmh seems interesting. I want to know. Does it focus on the leads abilities (strategist, military general) and…
I wanna say it is the former. Although most of Bei Jie actions seem fixated on Ping Ting, it does handle the leads trying to one up one another intellectually in trying to preserve and protect their homeland but more so on Ping Ting's part to uphold the sense of gratitude and appreciation for He Xia's family (who was part of Yan but things get convoluted later on) raising her when she was stranded after her father died and loyalty on Bei Jie's part for the Emperor and his mother (who is not a part in the drama just gets revealed more so later on in a flashback) in saving and raising him after his mother passed away and becoming a "brother" to him.

Like how Ping Ting can prevent Bei Jie and his army from threatening Yan or Liang and how Bei Jie tries to maneuver over Ping Ting's plan. Maybe i am not explaining it correctly and don't want to reveal spoilers, but yes it is romance involved but i feel like it focuses on the lead outwitting one another, Ping Ting's whole drive and loyalty was to Yan then to help her friend's husband in Liang so although she doesn't try to kill Bei Jie (as she falls in love with him later on) she does directly and indirectly affect the people around him while trying to stay loyal to Yan because He Xia's family raised her and to Liang as i mentioned earlier. As someone mentioned earlier, the female lead intelligence is not used as a plot device or for the character description online, she thinks with her head to save her behind in most situations and the show focuses more on that with the male lead.

Sorry if I babbled on....I have a tendency to do that at times, but this show is just so amazing.

Thanks for the review and have to say i am loving, LOVING this show at the moment. I didn't have much expectations but after watching I am comparing every single male lead to Bei Jie. His fearlessness, his drive, his bluntness, it is just refreshing to see a male lead not hinding behind his emotions and beating around the bush. he knows what he wants and is not playing around it.

Plus i love how smart Ping Ting is, it is so refreshing to not have a female lead presented as smart and intelligent strategist to see it only applied for at least for the first few episodes. so far (to me) she has maintained that same attribute of using her head to get herself out of so many situations that I feel like any moment or now that it might end up like many storylines where the lead lose their driving point.

Although i love the chemistry between the leads (like really really really love the chemistry, Wallace Chung just plays such an effortless romantic) it is surprisingly not THAT alone that keeps me watching. I find myself intrigued with majority of the characters (whether good or bad) and actually hooked to a Chinese historical, which cannot be said for too many. I wouldn't say it is flawless, the CGI and special effects tend to be a bit much on my end, but this drama is such an easy watch that despite the large episode load it will float by so fast that you would be asking for more.

Are they finally going to air this show? I saw it a while back and was named Perfume Woman and i guess they changed the title. Hopes this gets subbed as the story seemed interesting to me.

I'm on pin and needles with this drama. One moment I'm supposed to feel scared about their survival…
That's what i thought as well, i'm like hey the girl is the main reason why majority of them are still alive( well ki joon has some medical expertise so he has some use). but i think he wants someone more or less someone who wouldn't oppose him. he doesn't like individuals who will put up a fight with his opinion. despite how useful Bong Hee is, she is leaning more towards Joon Oh. But even then, the girl has such an intact moral and ethical fiber that she would completely flip him off for even suggesting such a thing and would counter on anything he said. in the preview it looked like he picked Soo Hee as the girl is just a bottle of nerves and fears that she can be easily manipulated.

I'm on pin and needles with this drama. One moment I'm supposed to feel scared about their survival and if in fact any of them actually survived except Bong Hee, then angry, then in awwww with the cute scenes btwn the main leads, and then bursting out in laughter.

Tae Ho, I was right from the beginning about distrusting his character. He killed the pilot simple and done. It wasn't a mercy killing, or anything of hat sort it was plain and simple of the pilot injuries getting in his way. He didn't want to deal with someone who wasn't going to help him or at least be a strong enough asset to him. Even in episode 4 with Bong Hee, his whole reason in choosing her to guard the foox was because he was already fishing and weeding out he individuals who was going to be of any benefit for HIS survival. I think in the end more ppl might come to their death due to Tae Ho having a hand in it.
On General and I Jan 26, 2017
Wallace Chung solid performance of Bei Jie has me now comparing every single male lead that i watch in dramas now. I have yet to see a lead with such much badasseryiness (is that a word?), trust, faith, determination, and perseverance just to land the female lead. If he was one of those weak male leads that said I love you's in words only, this drama would have been boring and gone downhill for me, but coupled that with actual action behind it....he has me completely in love with his character.

It may sound silly- what makes Bei Ji fall in love with bai ping ting?? I just remembered he save her in the river…
As the previous comment mentioned he met her when they were younger but it was due to her father rescuing him and his mother. Ping Ting's father died rescuing them and etc...
