in what episode is the truth about her parentage is revealed to her?and when do the others find out?
In episode 17 she finds out she is not related to the main male character. But its in episode 20 she fully finds out the truth. In episode 19 the main male lead finds out he is not related to her (the female lead) but when he finds out her true parentage I don't know as I am on episode 24.
non fans only please guysas a drama is it good or lacking ?? cuz the writer always have a good feel that doesn't…
I would say lacking. I like D.O from his acting from the drama I Remember and thought in giving this a go. However, like someone stated the drama is not sure what it wants to be. A melodrama, comedy, or a more serious palace drama. Either one is not fully fleshed out and either way ur not engaged with the story. I find myself fastforwarding....only focusing on the main couple...but even then its jarring with the whole lie surrounding his identity. I'm continuing it for now, because seriously D.O. acting really impressed me in the past and its doing so even now, but if ur looking for an engaging romance or melodrama or palace drama is ur thing, do not waste ur time. Its boring and I feel like I'm not investing in the characters and not really sure why I should even care to do so. However, the main leads chemistry is really cute and engaging. Overall, if ur okay with a unclear plot and story but cute leads and solid acting this drama might be for u.
If Im wrong, I thought this and the chinese version was loosely based on the korean drama "save the last dance for me" which aired in 2005 with eugene and ji sung
Have watched each and every single version of this story and was hesitant in watching the t-drama version, but so far I'm questioning myself why i was so hesitant in watching it for so long. the story is AMAZING, the characters are realistic and having faults but able to see the character grow and develop. the leads have such cute and at times very sizzling chemistry where their longing is portrayed perfectly by both lead actors. This story reminds me why I used to love Taiwanese dramas so much.
This drama and Memory Love reminds me once again why I started to love Taiwanese dramas. Its been a couple of years since I found a really good one that has kept me eager and glued to my screen and determined to watch. Love the female and male lead in this and just want to see more. Just amazing cute and adorable chemistry that can just push into being completely sexy at times. Trying to stop watching so more episodes can come out so I can watch.
Very cute drama, very predictable, and the storyline wasn't something new. i don't care much for most school dramas and after school 2015 being a huge disappointment with spiraling second lead syndrome I didn't have this much under my radar. But boredom has a way of speaking and I watched the first episode until i was on the fourth and was sold on the show. It wasn't necessarily the plot but the chemistry between Eun Ho and Tae Woon. Kim Sejong and Kim Jung Hyun did an AMAZING job with their characters of just a right enough of adorableness and sexiness at times. Although Sejong is just starting acting with this show, it just dindn't feel like her first show, it was too good. sure there might have been some obvious signs she was a rookie, but I didn't see it because she was just so darn good with her interactions with the male leads and the supporting characters. However, Kim Jung Hyun as Tae Woon stole the show for me. His tsundere, hard exterior, but soft as putty interior, his utter devotion and love that he had for the female lead......it was just at times breath taking and adorable. I hope he takes more lead roles in the future because he definitely have the acting chops to back it up.
As someone stated previously, most of the supporting character stories are NOT fully wrapped up. Such as all the rich kids, the idol kid, the bullies/gangsters, and some of the teachers storylines were rushed through and not fully completed. But in reality that's how it goes. Most people change. Most people don't. some people learn from their mistakes, most people don't. Whether they planned to bring that message towards the way they ended, IDK, but I am satisfied with the drama overall.
Finally catching up after two weeks of exams.....wow....wow......wow.....wow.....WOW WOW WOW!!!!I I'm on episode 42.....and shiittt.......Shit is literally hitting the fan. I'm gonna try to organize my thoughts in some type of order....
Chun'er or Princess of Wei......sheesh.......the girl has been naive, annoying, and at times self-absorbed and selfish but she didn't deserve what happened to her. She didn't deserve that AT ALL!!! Even my worst enemy, I would never wish for someone to be gangraped and for it to all be orchestrated under someone they hold near and dear to them. Although the men who did it said that"Yan Xun" was the one who did it, it just cannot be the truth. I didn't perceive it as that....I felt for a moment he didn't want Yuan Song or Prince of Wei and the Princess to get hurt and did want to extend a hand out for a last sign of repayment for their past. However, but what happened to her was just darn terrible and her naivety that everything can be switched and drop at a hat by her words, pleading with her father to cancel the marriage to save Yan Xun and even trying to find him again to plead with him.....urgh my heart. She is not the same and I feel bad because she has been used by everyone and is going to fully dement into madness. Such a shame that she is going to blame Chu Qiao, when Chu Qiao was the one who saved her from the aftermath and prevented them from killing her and her brother.
Yan Xun, I'm just going to rewatch the beginning episodes to remember that he used to know how to smile, laugh, joke, and play around like the best of them. Shawn Dou deserves a round of applause because the acting from the playful young boy to the bad ass rebel getting revenge and taking back his seat as the Prince of Yanbei.....just left me astounded and screaming.....he deserves a whole lot of claps for his performance as the Prince of Yanbei. He is amazing and sexy as heck but he is a character i am going to hate which is really already happening as it is. He can take all that sexy revenge on the ppl who needs it but leave the innocent people out of it. But Yan Xun is not going to do that. He has completely lost himself and will most likely end up alone. A man such as himself is going to be consumed with hatred, anger, and revenge. Just wiping out all the people who killed his family will not be enough, it will never be enough. He pretty much has achieved coming after all the generals that played a role in murdering his family save the Emperor himself.
YWY another round of applause for my silent brooding man whom everyone deems as so cold and expressionless but it takes an actor such Lin Geng Xin to give the small nuance of ticks, smirks, love, and etc...that he gives here and there. I am at the point where I am deeming it is okay for the male lead to fall for a second female lead (if there ever was one in this show). This is the first time where I feel like the male lead is too darn good for the female lead NOT because in honesty i don't think she deserves him or not (which in at this moment it doesn't seem like she does either) but because I can't take a hint on whether or not if she even likes him (i mean i know she does but at times its like DOES SHE REALLY?).
Chu Qiao/Xiao Lu/Xing'er/A'Chu/Chu Qiao (finally again) is a wonderful female lead when it comes character wise to fighting ass and taking names, no damsel in distress, loyal, and not one to be trampled on, she tramples on people herself. But when it comes to female lead and romance wise and consistency in character.....she is just plain dumb. She never trusted YWY, always doubted him, and didn’t have much loyalty to him to begin with because she could never confide in him when shit hit the fan. But with Yan Xun she is like bros before hoes….her loyalty so resolute that at times I’m confused as to why she is so loyal to him when its been obvious he has gone against his promises to not lie to her and to not harm innocent people. Even when YWY has protected her ass time and time again he couldn’t even get an ounce of trust that she has Yan Xun (I saw trust because she was so quick to believe that YWY betrayed her and killed her brother maliciously without a second thought while she found it almost impossible to believe that Yan Xun turned his back on the Xiu Li Army and possibly orchestrated for the Prince of Wei and Princess of Wei to not make it back to Chang’an safely (idk….but I wouldn’t be surprised at this point). I don’t feel bad for her as she slowly realizes how far demented Yan Xun has become but I do admire her character but despise the fact she is the female lead at times because she registers as if she feels nothing for YWY (but I know there are moments she does, when she looked back in episode 38 or so when Xiao Ce [Prince of Liang State] was ambushed and Yan Xun came to save her….she did care whether or not if he would be okay….that small glance had to mean something).
I’m still watching but I miss the lightheartness of the older episodes and must say Yuwen Huai’s death was so anticlimactic…..I mean he was the main villain and annoyance in the first 25 episodes and for his death to be so quick and such a dud as it was. However, I’m wondering does the Concubine (who was a maid to Chu Qiao’s mother) ever retrieve her son alive because I’m pretty sure he will suffocate in that chest that he put him in??? URRRRGGGHHHHH.......this show is so frustrating, addicting……my God….hands goes to all the actors and actresses…..they are doing a fantastic job.
I'm surprised this drama has such a high score! It started off really well, but omg such a hot mess by the…
Infuriating. Utterly infuriating. I watched in the beginning because of boredom and finished because i did love Hae Soo and Wang So chemistry. The reason why I commited to their love because Wang So loves Hae Soo more so than she loves him. He trusts her more than she trust him. I say crappy directing and writing screw up this drama along with questionable acting. Things weren't horrible, I have seen truly detestable shows in my years of watching dramas and this is nowhere near that, and I really secretly want a second season because Wang So as the Fourth Prince being forever alone literally ached my heart in the end.
I wonder how they're going to wrap this up in the next 20+ episodes. Feels like they've been dragging…
I have been always worried about a drama when it isn't able to completely tie up the leads love story. However, in Princess Agents, i am at the point where i am more afraid that they are not going to even finish the main story by the end of its completion. CQ has not discovered her identity. they have rumored her mother to have been an OG in the kungfu/assassin world (i'm not sure what her mother was....grasping at straws) and i was hoping she would find out and at least take her mother's place while fighting to end the whole slavery system and falling in love with YWY. I haven't even watched this week's episode but know since episode 30 (now 38 episodes have gone by) there is no way 20 episodes is enough to tie things up. Unless they have decided (1) to completely mess with our minds and sanity and have a second season that come up a year, two, or even longer from now (2) the ending is going to be unsatisificatory, horrible, rushed, and makes no sense.
Alot of things need to be addressed. CQ hates YWY, CQ don't know her identity, how far along is YX is with that revenge? the finally introduced a key character, not even halfway through the show rather when the show is about to end.....there is just too many things to cover. my money is on a second season for the fact of the popularity this show has received and people love milking things until its dry. but another part states even if they did, majority if none of the actors would come back to their role.
lol i m in that stage where i m shipping Chu Qiao with everyone .. yuwan, yanxun , the prince, the liang prince…
OTP means one true pair. Ship means two people who you want to see together or end up together by the end of a drama, show, movie, game, manga, anime, etc... OTP or one true pair is tied interchangebaly with ship and can be used for anything. For example, YWY and CQ are the OTP for me in Princess Agents and hence I would "ship" them together.
I think what happened to me with this drama was that i was expecting too much from it. For the longest i heard…
Funny that you said it because I have been binge-watching old kdramas, the new ones are not cutting it, and i rewatched this show again. I could appreciate it for what it was worth as the female lead was strong, feisty, and didn't take shit from anyone. but what i couldn't fail to notice was how terrible the main lead or Hyun Bin's character was to Kim Sam Soon. It could have sufficed if they gave the BS ending where they had three children and lived happily ever after. i was willing to settle with that since Kim Sam Soon suffered so much for this love which was unbalanced and in reality a possessive and emotionally abusive relationship at times but i realized did we REALLY resolve anything? The ex yes, Min Joo yes, but what about her relationship with Sam Shik and her sister's relationship with the manager? Alot of things were unexplained and felt like one more episode was needed? Or perhaps the BS of episode 15 and 16 was not needed and if things imply ended where he didn't desert her for 2 months ( i know the misdelivery of the postcards) but the phone calls could be made and i didn't go for the half-assed last minute excuse of missing her too much. this drama had steam for the first seven even eight episodes...but after that second arch, things went off track.
Saw the trailer and cannot wait to watch hopefully with subs. Secretly shipping her character with yang xun in Princess agents and just glad at least in this drama they will end up together...
