I’m so happy Jin Han is the male lead, he’s incredibly underrated. He showed so much range and intensity in…
Agreed. He was a villain in Princess Weiyoung and Princess Agents but his acting drew me since then. I'm glad he is getting more main leads and he killed it in twisted fate of love. Want to see Peng Xiao Ran as well as I loved her in Goodbye my princess.
Plot wise, it started to lose steam but in this for Jin Han's amazing portrayal of Feng Xi. I'm conflicted with his character but you cannot help but root for him. Sun Yi is an amazing actress but her FL are sometimes frustrating to endure. Dong Yue is still tolerable compared to Qin Sang.
Does the FL actually fight throughout this drama, are they good scenes? I'm just wondering if it's a convincing…
She fights but its kind of useless at times when she is the one landing them into fighting situations (at times). She is frustrating but compared to most female leads she can defend herself and does use her head (at times).
exactly. there isn't much raw chemistry in kdramas these days. i miss how drama's can have characters with imperfect…
I cannot find a kdrama that can hold my interest longer than an episode nowadays. Time is a factor, but there isnt anything that seems intriguing enough to hold my attention.
Not really, i mean in the end the main leads end up together. They struggle to get a happy ending and the male…
I'll be honest and say it feels like it took a very long time, close to the final four or five episodes for them to be together and to be happy. I would say start at episode though it might seem depressing, it gets better later on in the final episodes. I can say at least this historical drama doesn't have a sad ending.
Do Kyung Suk indeed is the undisputed king of harsh rejection of a SFL :) I love his clear stance towards her,…
I absolutely loved the main lead as he was able to defend the MFL and tell the SFL to buzz off at the same time. Plus the leads chemistry also paid off as well.
I would add the General and I as well. Though the female lead frustrated me in the end, the male leads devotion to the female lead was unrivaled. No other woman could come in his sight in comparision.
she looks like eun yoon hye, her mannerisms in acting, thats what i see in her
That's who she reminds me of. Its not that she looks like her but I think her acting is similar to Yoon Eun Hye. If she continues she has a really bright future.
I would recommend to watch it as the synopsis can tend for it to be annoying and give the drama a bad rap but the acting and chemistry makes it worth it. As the warning states in the article, alot of manhandling and possessiveness from the male lead. If the male lead wasnt handsome or even in drama world we will yell sexual and physical harrassment but the female lead fights back as much as she can when confronted with this aggressiveness. Overall give it at least two episodes befote deciding to continue as it took two episodes for me to warm up (a little bit) to the male lead.
I had to stop watching "Once Upon A Time in My Heart" as that was one of the rare and few times I got SLS. It was too intense and I am an all or nothing type of girl, if they are not ending up together or even mirroring that they might be together I'm not interested.
But seeing they had another drama I wasn't sure, especially since the synopsis didnt do much to sell it for me, but after reading your article I started watching. The characters are frustrating and if it wasnt due to the acting from everyone I would have dropped it. Plus the chemistry between the leads and between Nit and Tam is keeping me watching. I am on episode 4 and I'm liking where this is going so far so will keep watching.
