Yul wanted to kill Naksu because she was a soul shifter. That’s what Songrim mages do. But because he protected her in Part 1, she ran wild and caused horrible chaos and death. He was going to kill her and himself in Part 2, because he wanted to protect the world, and protect Uk from more pain, and thought he was dying anyway. He also would not want to live after killing a person he loved. That was his idea of taking responsibility.

Master Lee had a plan, but the bright, kind soul he sensed in Episode 7, also had a plan he was not aware of. He has said that in an under breath several times in Part 2. He did not have to intervene, because first the lovers are fated to be together, then he became aware that the real JBY was going to take control.

CP I’m afraid is being lost to the dark side. His need to be King, and best Uk is too strong. Jin Mu feeds that insecurity and greed and pettiness.

But the pace is building.

That will be the source of the crying scene. Who to choose? Also, though, he will be using sorcery to achieve it, which is bad in Yul’s and Master Lees eyes.

Haha! Hong Sisters seem to throw random objects in their dramas. In Greatest Love, it was potatoe. In Masters Sun, SFL was a black whale. HdL, the firefly?

He is trying to preserve the time Naksu has left to be with Uk. Master Lee said Naksu will disappear once the divine powers return. He warned Yuk Ohmoff, pleaded and threatened with Mama Jin for just a few more days for them to be together, promising Mama Jin her daughter back, once all was done.

Isn’t it the Choi mage who was lost 200 years ago? Looks like an ice stone was in him. I thought it was Jang Uk in a horrible foreshadowing. BUT now they have 2 ice stones. Maybe they can use the spare for Naksu?

Everyone went to great lengths to hide Uk from his legacy, because he would be a challenge to the royal family and touch off a possible civil war. The CP also alluded to this when he asked if Uk would challenge him for the throne and Uk said no.

As he guessed and confirmed with Jin Mu, the royal family is safe from Uk, because he does not desire power, but is motivated to PROTECT those he loves. That has been consistent from Episode 1. As long as they don’t hurt or attack his people they are safe. They learned that lesson from accidentally threatening Yul’s life. Jin Mu was terrified, until he realized that Uk was after Mama Jin to save Yul. Then he groused that he did not have to fear Uk or grovel to his sister.

You are aware that GYJ did voice overs in Part 1, of MDs inner dialogue?

And of course, Master Lee had to explain its significance!

I hope CP can be redeemed, but his is following a dark path now, consciously walking hand in hand with Jin Mu

The Choi mage that got stuck in there 200 years ago? But ice stone was in his heart too.

I’m counting on the fact they also write Master’s Sun, with many side characters, and they ended with about 4 happy couples, including the middle aged sister who ended up with a precious pregnancy. I’m hanging my hat on buns in the oven for all the couples left standing.

I’m also waiting for that powerful scene that made both leads cry, because I’m hoping that it will be the one that reveals all. I don’t want a crap ending, because it would be a waste of all the superb acting performances, especially LJW. His performance in Part 2 is what I’ve been waiting for. I enjoyed Part 1, but he did have to play the weak ML for most of the 20 episodes. I’ve been crying so much in Part 2 over his performance with all the main cast. Park Jin, Kim Do Ju, JBY, Yul, Dang-Gu and CP.

He did set the boundary and kept it. She was encouraged by Kim Do Ju for 3 years because she is the “egret” that SHE favored at first. I loved it when she went “Tiger Mom” mode on Yun Ok, after her passive-aggressive attempt to deliver things tomUk.

In Part 2, she and her maid have been doing this passive-aggressive behavior to try to show JBY that Yun Ok has a good relationship with Uk and that JBY is the outsider that will never be loved by Uk. In Part 1 I liked her, because she was infatuated with Uk, but was basically kind to MD, not seeing a maid as her rival. Part 2, the status of JBY is equal to her own, and she is a legit rival for Uk. Her claws came out, and it’s not pretty.

Most likely Uk holding her head and seeing the Blue glow to either finally see she is Naksu or to confirm that she is Naksu.

I don’t really see it, unless CP really turns full evil, which may happen if he fears Uk so much, he will make use of Jin Mu’s secret organization. If so, I will relish the showdown between evil minions and our Fab 4-7 (not sure who can fight)
