So JangUk is biggest genius in Daeho right? We know it only took him days to master Ryusu/Chisu. What if all this…
I think Kings Star energy and ice stone energy are two separate things. As Kings Star, they already knew he could achieve Hwansu in a short period of time, just as he powered up to Chisu in a matter of weeks? Ice stone brought him back to life and amplifies his natural powers.

Though he achieved Hwansu through the Ice Stone, as Kings Star, he has the energy of all the elements. That’s why the elders have watched him. They don’t know how that power will be directed. Even Master Lee can no longer cut him off as in Part 1. Only Park Jin can guide him, as he is doing in Part 2. Uk is learning to expand his definition of who to protect- not only his circle, but the world.

Love this season, love their Chemistry, love her acting . She is a first grade actress
What I love is how she matches LJW in the level of acting prowess, commitment and BTS. They bring out a better performance in each other

why do i have a feeling despite seeing the blue marks that jang uk won't think shes naksu..
Naksu is the only soul shifter with the blue mark in her eyes. He knows, but is confused, because this is the first time she has manifested it. Do you realize how many times we had shots of her beautiful eyes looking him directly in the eye?

I just wish they would have developed Jinmu character better. When villain character is well written the story…
I see the writers defining the stakes for Uk to act with vigor instead of do nothing.

As stated by CP, he does not covet power, but will take action to protect.
-He will protect his foster mom Kin DomJu. Their relationship is more clearly defined. She is scolding him openly when he strays, and clearly squashed Yeol Ok. She has cared for him since birth..
-He will protect his foster dad Park Jin. Their relationship has also deepened in Part 2. Park Jin is helping him define the terms with which he will unleash his power.
-He will defend Yul. We got a taste of what he will do for his bro. Each episode has defined how deeply these two love each other and trust each other.
-He will defend Dang-Gu. These guys are the 3 Musketeers. “All for one, and one for all” He destroys his intestines to help him eat his uncles food.
-He will protect Jin Bu-Yeon. Whether as Naksu or BY, he has made the emotional commitment. He made very clear he did not like how she was treated at Jinyowan.
-Finally, he will protect the CP aka the turtle, who step by step approached him and made a place in his heart, like Park Jin said. This is recent, but once CP reached out sincerely, I think Uk forgave him.

Jin Mu has grown in evil and power. He was a weak slimy snake at first, but by slithering into dark cracks of peoples desires, he gained power. He and his secret organization will be a worthy adversary to gather the united mages in battle.

But, this being Hong Sisters, they do get sidetracked by the fun stuff. I trust the director to bring it home. He seems to be the one with the greater vision, and has orchestrated the production crew and cast to a high level.

I don't think you missed anything, they never really explained what or how Jin Mu made her father a soulshifter. But…
Bu-Yeon is born shortly before Uk, 20 years ago. Jang Kang got access to ice stone to facilitate her birth, then kept it to experiment with AoS. He had only performed about 8-10 times before the Kings AoS. I think it was mentioned either when he took out the soul shifter that killed his mom, or when he was trying to refuse the king.

My issue with this timeline during UKs gestational period:

-I don’t think Jang Kang hides the stone at this time. He waited to confirm that Uk was Kings Star. Kim Do Ju merely said he stopped performing AoS during this time. He was still head Gwanji and Jin Mu was a sniveling assistant.
-Jin Mu can possibly be conspiring already with a shaman Choi, but they do not have possession of the stone. Jang Kang does.
* Bu Yeon retrieved the stone 10 years ago. Mama Jin was searching for 10 years.
*Jin Mu had to curse Cho Chung after UKs birth, since he recorded the Kings Star constellation and then agreed to hide it for Jang Kings sake. Jin Mu excused his act as one of loyalty to ensure that the plate would not be revealed. This is when Jang Kang should have sealed Jin Mu’s energy, instead of believing his promise he’d never ever use AoS again.

Two episodes until the end and we still know almost nothing.
Welcome to the Hong Sisters! They love sparkling dialogue, witty scenes, puns, drama parodies, etc. however, they are not always coherent. I credit the director with a fabulous job of presenting the story. Last episode will be much like episodes 20, full of last minute twists. However, I do believe we will have a happy ending.

I really want them to get an award for best couple
Problem was, LJW was her leading man, and she should have faked it better for the camera to promote the series. She’s a veteran actress and it’s only 10-15 minutes at a time. BTS she can do what she wants.. LJW is incredibly professional and polite when doing promo for all his dramas. It made me uneasy for the success of the series.

Fortunately, Part 1 was good, and involved a master-pupil relationship and unconditional love from Uk.

All the guys are extremely close. They talked about it in interview and bonded because they are the same age. In Part 2, GYJ was their age, tried harder to be friendly BTS, and really worked hard with LJW to bring AoS to a conclusion. It showed.

They were all so relaxed with each other at the promos. I literally cried laughing at all their antics. And I will say LJW and GYJ formed a rare partnership in this drama. They really worked hard and bonded.

The problem with that theory is that Shaman made soul ejectors around 10 years after UKs birth with the ice stone recovered by 10 years lost BY.

ChonChing was shifted 20 years ago about the time of UKs birth. The only orbs created then were by Jang Kang because he learned how from Shaman Chois book. He already had the ice stone, taken when he helped with BYs birth.

Bells and dust were Shaman Chois spell on the soul ejectors she created to control them. Jin Mu got her kit from the Queens (Shaman Chois) lady in waiting.

You are a soul shifter even if you go back into your body, like Gil-Ju. He petrified even when he didn’t succeed in switching with Uk.

I wasn’t bragging. To be honest her rabid fans have turned me off from being a mild fan of hers. She’s best as a certain type. She’s been trying to break out of the mold, and AoS was probably her most successful attempt at it.

She did not have any chemistry with LJW and seemed stand off-ish in interviews and BTS.

It’d be difficult. You’d have to include JSM, making it a 3-some. They tried it with EY in 2019, and lost, because it was a threesome, not couple. If you divided voting between JSM/LJW and GYJ/LJW, JSM has more fans.
