I guess because of FL's mom first of all. I liked it 9/10. Leads act reasonable. No stupid plots and twists. Just good slow story. Didn't want to drop it or delay.
I'm just laughing for "You are my everything" OST from "Descendants of the Sun" here in ep. 9. I guess it's like easter egg or dramatic standart nowdays, heard it in some other drama too recently.
Her role of playful and goofy Ying Yin Yin in "Here We Meet Again" after the aristocratically cold and domineering Lin Wei in "Unforgettable Love". It's amazing how different the characters are.
god this was beautiful i can’t believe how many times i cried….as a cinephile myself this movie connected…
I'm easily burst to tears tbh, but not here. Dunno why. I really liked it. It's sad just right way, but not that much to have tears. "There's no one home" is the only cry moment
true, the story is like a chewing gum. Kinda sad for a drama which revolves around the quality of movies.
No depth, but it has good jokes, just as much sadness as needed. The plot is simple and straightforward. Even the characters' motives aren't dumb, as they often are in k-dramas. Good mix. The film is more successful than not.
Episode 12 made soooo beggarly. He pushed her to learn dancing and etiquette so it supposed to be a big event with the ball. And guess what? They just dance alone infront of some of business partners, friends and a couple of waiters. Only then a few extra dancers step in. I had that feeling just once: in "The Fabulous (2022)" at their "fashion show". Upd: episode 22 even worse. Stupid emo swings.
anyone else get irritated with fl not staying put she literally does what she wants some times which is rarely…
Most of the male characters in c-dramas are either notorious antagonists or complete douchbags like ML here or in "The Love You Give Me (2023)". Moreover, this does not correlate in any way with their level of intelligence. So leads here worth each other. SFL is my favourite here so far 17/24 eps watched.
Disclaimer: we need new tag "confident leads" not to cringe about their behavior. I guess that's why i loved "Blossom (2024)" or "Best Choice Ever (2024)" so much.
One of the most complete true happy endings ever seen
Surprised that "Boys over flowers" in list.

Little, but memorable role in Live Up to Your Name.
Iconic True Beauty.
Now she is outshining in My Dearest Nemesis.
