I'm not going to give up watching, but... As mentioned ML is such a jerk in first 6 or so episodes. In addition classic chinese filmmakers have some kind of fetish for stone-faced male characters with the temperament of an iceberg. FL switched from repulsion to adoration in blink of an eye for no apparent reason. Like a huge milestone missed in plot about 16-17 eps.
Ep. 18 is such a mockery of common sense. Unit 9 delayed promo. Exhibition stand went to Unit 1 for reason - Deadline. ML and whole Unit 9 are outraged that they were not given a stand, although they deliberately missed the deadline and knew about it. Stella passes the stand to Unit 9 just an hour before exhibition. Like all Unit 1 work is kind of joke for her (main title making money right now). The end of ep. 20 Jun Nan ignores and anger at Gu Xun. Why? What happened? Just like scene before was cut. As comments below say this will happen all the time till the end. The plot of the series and plot twists are designed for girls of elementary school age.
I started to rewatch it after The First Frost and just at 10 minute of 1st serie thought that the only links are:-…
Thank you for novel info. My bad: not author, but screenwriter. I guess it's better to match dramas age gaps and timelines. Anyway both series are extremely good, just "standalone" for less confusion imo
Ok so now I am watching hidden love again . In episode 23 it shows Sang Yan did his research about pregnancy and…
In episode 13 of Hidden Love they talk about Sang Yan's blind dates. No Sang Yan's depression period, no Sang Yan's flights to Yi Fan. Here by the time Sang Zhi get to university, San Yang and Wen Yi Fan dating already. And that weird Jia Xu's cameos here... Back again to episode 13 of HL: Qian Fei's wedding. No Wen Yi Fan. In TFF Sang Yan at that wedding introduces her to his friends as his girlfriend. And Jia Xu is totally indifferent to Sang Zhi. So it's just separate stories with characters and places, having same names by accident. It's better to take it that way imo. Cute friends setting for screenwriter to save time and effort to create a new story.
just finished watching The First Frost.. absolutely loved it.. and than I saw a comment that says Hidden Love…
I started to rewatch it after The First Frost and just at 10 minute of 1st serie thought that the only links are: - Sang Zhi's and Sang Yan's family names; - Duan Jia Xu's name / his weird "cameo" in The First Frost; - university friends names; - Nanwu place; - Sang Zhi's boyfriend mentioned in The First Frost, not sure it was Duan Jia Xu btw.
What for do authors link them? Sang Zhi and Yan are totally different here and there
I am currently on episode 7 and I hate that they are not really communicating with each other and its a little…
Continue for sure. But mention that it's a reeeeeaaaaal slow burn romance. That tag must be the first. I'm on Ep. 17. Flirt was so obvious. They almost started to date. And... nothing. 26 days just skipped.
I guess because of FL's mom first of all. I liked it 9/10. Leads act reasonable. No stupid plots and twists. Just good slow story. Didn't want to drop it or delay.
I'm just laughing for "You are my everything" OST from "Descendants of the Sun" here in ep. 9. I guess it's like easter egg or dramatic standart nowdays, heard it in some other drama too recently.
Her role of playful and goofy Ying Yin Yin in "Here We Meet Again" after the aristocratically cold and domineering Lin Wei in "Unforgettable Love". It's amazing how different the characters are.

One of the most complete true happy endings ever seen
Surprised that "Boys over flowers" in list.

Little, but memorable role in Live Up to Your Name.
Iconic True Beauty.
Now she is outshining in My Dearest Nemesis.
